Once you’ve decided what the short name will be (it can be up to 32 characters) you’ll need to submit it. If you receive an error message after typing the short name in, it’s because the name has already been taken, so you’ll have to think of something else.

The last step in this method is to click ‘Apply’ and then it’s a simple matter of waiting until Google approves the link.
