How to create Feed Widgets

Let us show you how easy it is to create your own Instagram Feed widget:

  1. To get started, go to the Trustindex Widget Configurator > Feed widgets menu, and click on Add
  2. First, select the widget layout. We offer 5 primary layouts:
    • slider
    • grid
    • list
    • masonry
    • and stand-alone widgets.

Choose whichever you like best and click on select. 

3. Then you will enter the Style Editor where you can make further modifications to personalize your feed widget.

4. In the Main settings, you can change the feed source to any social platform that you have connected to your account. Then you can select multiple sources inside the social platform that you chose.
For example, if you have 3 Instagram accounts, connected to your account, this is where you can select the one you want to display posts from.
You can also select the order of the posts here.

5. The Secondary settings include: 

  • Layout: where you can adjust the number of posts and how they are displayed 
  • Card: where you can modify what attributes are displayed and hidden in each post 
  • Header: which can be displayed or not
  • Popup: lets you choose how each post looks like when clicked on 
  • and style&color: where you have a wide range of customization options for the widget elements. 

In these sections, you have the option to further personalise the Feed widget so it best matches your company and website.

6. Once you are satisfied, click on Save and then copy the code from the pop-up window and paste it into the source code of your webpage.

    I always get the message ” You have no feed source (platform) yet.” and than ” The access token has expired. In order to continue to update your posts, please reset the access by pressing the resolve button.” I resolve the connection to facebook for instagram and it works until I want to config the feed.
