Overall, EBS is a very good school with a solid program and a strong learning environment.
However, I feel that the amount of memorization required is above what I would consider reasonable, which can take away from the enjoyment of a course that could otherwise be more engaging and fun.
I also believe that flair training, while valuable and very much in trend, should be optional. It requires a specific set of skills, and for students who may struggle with grip or fine motor coordination, it demands a level of practice that the school may not realistically be able to provide within the course timeframe. Offering it as an optional certification track would allow students to choose based on their abilities and interests.
I had a great time at EBS Amsterdam. The course itself is very informational, and there is a lot of practical training, all you need to be a great bartender!! The instructors were very helpful, kind, and patient, which definitely helped me successfully complete the course. I highly recommend EBS Amsterdam to anyone looking to up their bartending skills.
Ich habe den Kurs im Mai gemacht und habe eine unglaublich gute Zeit gehabt! Die Leute und die instructor sind sehr nett und durch Lawrence fühlt man sich sehr willkommen:) hier wird sehr viel beerpong gespielt und generell wird sehr viel Programm angeboten. Würde es auf jeden weiterempfehlen!
