We had an exceptional two-night stay at Eddie. Aimee and Andy were the most wonderful hosts and had thought of every single detail to make our stay feel special and romantic. All the little touches made such a difference and made this one of the best trips we’ve had.Everything was perfect, and you could really see how much thought, care and effort had gone into creating such a lovely experience. We felt so welcomed and didn’t want to leave!Thank you, Aimee, for making our stay so memorable. We couldn’t recommend Eddie enough and will absolutely be returning!

My husband and I booked this beautiful place for our ‘minimoon’ and we already are thinking about when we can head back!Aimee was so helpful and clear in her instructions with everything, but especially when it came to firing up the hot tub and getting the fire pit going. The land was peaceful, quiet and the view of those four gorgeous alpacas brought a smile to our faces every morning. Locality was great, only a short journey into Bicester or Oxford City Centre and thanks to the host’s recommendation, we used the Thornhill park & ride which made everything so much easier to get around. I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway! I know we’ll back back ❤️

Exceptional kindness and helpful support The host's kindness here truly impressed me! While cycling through on a gravel ride, I got a puncture just outside this stunning spot. The host immediately came out to assist, offering a better pump and even a spare inner tube. Although I didn’t stay this time, their generosity and helpfulness left a lasting impression. I’m already looking forward to returning for the full experience!

I booked Freddie’s hut at Rest & Retreats for my boyfriend’s birthday and I can’t reccomend enough! Aimee and Andrew were so lovely and helped make our stay extra special with balloons and prosecco as well as extra treats! They even gave us their recommendations for food and things to do in the area. The hut was so cozy and had everything we needed, the alpacas were also a gorgeous addition to our stay (probably my favourite part!) Thank you so much Aimee and Andrew we will definitely be coming back! 💕

Our stay at Edie Hut was a wonderful little getaway. We booked VERY last minute but Aimee and Andy were so accommodating and everything was perfect when we arrived. The Shepherds Hut had everything (and more) to make you feel at home, the extra little treats were such a nice surprise and very much appreciated. The alpacas were so cute and friendly, we loved waking up to them in the morning.Thank you to Aimee and Andy for making our stay so enjoyable.

An amazing air b&b. It feels very private and the alpacas are just roaming around it’s lovely. The place was spotless. Host was friendly and replied fast as I was trying to arrange a last minute proposal after holiday gone wrong. Beautiful drive to the place, lovely village and cute little pub 2 min walk away, never seen anything like it in England. Thanks for the stay. We will be back

This was a brilliant weekend getaway for me and my partner. The host Aimee was lovely she explained everything about the hut to us, how everything worked and what to do around the area. I couldn’t recommend this more for an unreal weekend or longer if you wanted. So many nice little details to the hut like the skylight, it was beautiful at night and was a really nice touch. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delightful shepherds hut only a short drive from Oxford. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highlights included the wood fired hot tub, watching the alpacas goof about on the field in front of our hut and making s'mores on the fire pit. The whole place was pristine and cozy and Aimee was very thoughtful and welcoming on arrival. Thank you so much for a brilliant stay!

The most relaxing stay at Freddie shepherd hut, wouldn’t have changed a thing apart from having to leave! The alpacas were so sweet and lovely to watch from bed with a cup of coffee in the morning. Hot tub and fire pit with the complimentary Prosecco made for lovely evenings.

The cedar cabin is a lovely small home in the space of the owners back garden with lots of privacy. We felt very welcomed and we added the hot tub to our booking which was so worth it enjoying it day or night. We also added to meet there alpacas which were so friendly and we was able to learn about them. If visiting Oxfordshire short drives or buses to different locations

It sounds like you packed plenty into your visit to Oxfordshire as well, with trips to Diddly Squat Farm Shop, The Farmer’s Dog, Oxford city centre and Blenheim Palace. The cabin is in a great spot for exploring all of them while still having somewhere peaceful and private to come back to.

We’re also glad you enjoyed the welcome goodies and felt secure and comfortable during your stay.

Such a lovely relaxing stay in the Freddie hut. It was small but cosy and had everything you needed for a relaxing and peaceful retreat. The skylight in the bedroom was a lovely touch and the stars did shine for us on the second night! The hot tub was really nice. The Alpacas were a great addition, they were funny and they kept us entertained! We had a short walk to the Abingdon Arms for food and drove about 20 minutes to The Pointer for a meal, both were really nice and would recommend.If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing break we would definitely recommend staying here, we hope to return again in the future.
