We sought a weekend of solace and serenity. This ticked all of the boxes and then some. From Jo’s warm welcome, dispensing a range of recommendations whilst checking us in to the simply divine accommodation, we were made to feelImmediately at home. The lodge itself is tastefully styled, its design and setting gave an impression of complete solitude. We will undoubtedly return if only to sit in the wood fired hot tub whilst watching the sunset and the wealth of wildlife around the lake.
We have just had the most amazing, relaxing break here, everything was perfect, the lodges are beautiful, it was so serene, we didn't want to leave, will we go again? Oh yes for definite, i am already planning our next break there this year again.

What a beautiful place to take time out and relax. We stopped off here for a few nights in the midst of our UK travels and were delighted with the friendly relaxed atmosphere alongside luxurious accommodation with absolutely everything we needed. The hot tubs were just perfect and fantastic to soak and enjoy the ambiance. Local walks were interesting and the nearby village had quality pubs and food options. Highly recommend as a place to stay.

My partner and I chose to spend our anniversary glamping. This was our first time and we had a great experience. From start to finish everything was amazing. Jo and Bell were very friendly and attentive. They were really kind and went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. The lodge had everything we needed. It was clean, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The view from our room was beautiful. We will definitely come back here again. Thank you Jo and team! x

Kingfisher Lakes is an excellent place to escape the world / base to see east coast
Easy to book directly through Kingfisher Lakes own website, received confirmation emails and updates as arrival date got nearer. Great location to escape the world, Jo met us on our arrival and showed us around the site and lodge. Willow Lodge is a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. the views of the lake and wildlife are amazing. Jo provided advice on what to do and where we could visit during our stay. There is a reception with leaflets and games for you to use. Willow Lodge is compact but has everything you need to relax, the hot tub was prepared and ready for us for our arrival. Extra logs, kindling & matches for Hot Tub supplies at no extra cost. Lodge and surrounding areas well maintained and fishing is possible (we were going to fish but the snowy weather put pay to that for me). Highly recommended, and look at for the friendly Robin's

Relaxing weekend
We stayed for my wife’s birthday in December this year and booked sunset lodge. We were met from m the car by Jo who was lovely and explained everything about the site including where to get wood for the hot tub. The lodge was perfect. It was quiet and situated right over the lake. We had a regular visitor of a robin who kept visiting the balcony and we watched herons and moorhens whilst sitting in the decking. We fell asleep to the sounds of an owl and slept the sleep of the innocent? The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The hot tub was lovely although having never used a wood fired one before I do nearly boil us alive! Lesson learned. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone seeking some peace and quiet. We will definitely be returning.
Wow what a find. Greeted on arrival by Jo, lovely lady, showed us to our lodge. Wow!!!!!! Amazing setting , so clean and well equipped. Wood burning hot tub amazing, no noise of a motor just sat back, relaxed and took the stunning view in. Wonderful night sleep in a cosy bed and surroundings. Exceptional value for money. Well done to Jo and her family, keep doing what you do, it’s certainly right. You’d certainly give them a run for the money if you went on four in a bed, they’d see how this sort of business is done. Well done and we’ll certainly be visiting again when we just want to fall of the face of the earth with no hustle and bustle just a tranquil break from busy lives. Thank you, Lynne and John xx
Well we are back for a 2nd visit. We have been in the Lookout Lodge. Stunning. Everything perfection. Jo and the team have everything just perfect. What a fantastic place! The lodges around the lake are lovely, and ours was spotless inside. The bed was super comfortable, and the hot tub—already lit and ready when we arrived—was just perfect.Jo our host was wonderful, showing us around and making us feel right at home. Everything we needed for the log fired hot tub was provided too, which was a nice touch.It’s only a short walk to the local village, where there are a couple of pubs, a chip shop, and a pizza restaurant overlooking the lake – such a nice setting. It really has everything you could wish for.We had a lovely few days away and hope to return soon!
What an amazing place this is. The safari tent we stayed in was awesome and really spacious. There was an outdoor kitchen that had everything we needed. The best bit for us was the lake where we went paddle boarding. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and can't wait to visit again

Beautiful setting, easy to find and access, immaculately maintained site yet still feeling genuinely in the heart of countryside.
Lodges/tents and interiors of a very high standard. Fixtures, fittings and finishing touches tasteful and appropriate.
Jo gave us a comprehensive welcome tour and was extremely accommodating and helpful. It was lovely to see someone who takes such a pride in and genuinely loves what she has created.
I thoroughly recommend everything here.

Cosy, romantic getaway.
We had an amazing stay at Kingfisher lakes. On arrival we were met by Jo, who took us around the lodge and site. If you're looking for a peaceful, romantic getaway this is it. Everything was clean and cosy. Also little touches like fresh milk, coffee, tea and biscuits! Our lodge looked out on to the lake. The hot tub was all heated for us when we arrived.

We spent two night in Oak Tree Lodge and it was so relaxing, quiet and peaceful. The lodge was well equipped and was very warm and comfortable. The hop tub was very relaxing with a lovely view of the lake and it was so nice listening to the birds and nature around us. Jo was very friendly and showed us around the while site which is well kept and I thin’ they have thought of everything to make your stay pleasurable . I would love to visit again and would not hesitate to recommend.
