I’m so glad you mentioned the sofa ramp and the towel coats! We know those little details make a huge difference, especially when you’re heading back from the beach (which is just a bit too tempting at only 5 minutes away!). It’s our mission to make sure the humans are comfortable, but we all know the dogs are the real bosses on holiday.

I’m absolutely delighted your first holiday with your dogs was such a joy… that’s exactly how it should be, not stressful or full of “what ifs”! It means a lot that you trusted us with that first experience.

Oak Cottage is a bit special for that, isn’t it? Plenty of space for the dogs to just be dogs, and for you to properly relax at the same time.

And I love that you made the most of having Jo in—she really is fantastic at what she does. A massage on holiday always feels like a bit of a luxury, but I agree… it does end up being the cherry on top!

I am so chuffed that the 3-Star Reactive Dog Friendly rating felt 'utterly well deserved.' We are constantly working on finding more of these unique 'safe zones' where 'Guardians' (and what a perfect word you used!) can genuinely unwind without fear of triggers. 🛡️🌳

It sounds like you made the absolute most of Luna garden & cottage – Cart Gap, Horsey and Bacton is basically the dream team of coastal walks (and those seals never get old, do they?).

I’m so pleased the cottage worked so well for you and your little pack – dachshunds always seem to settle in like they own the place within about 3 minutes 😄

And you are very welcome re the dressing gown rescue mission… it’s not the first time and definitely won’t be the last! 😂

It’s great to hear the enclosed garden worked perfectly for you — we know how important that peace of mind is when you’re travelling with dogs. And yes… that underfloor heating is a bit of a game changer, especially on those cooler Norfolk days (and very much appreciated by the dogs too I’m sure! 😄).

I’m so glad you made use of the indoor dog wash and driers. We know what those North Pennines walks can be like, and there’s nothing better than being able to 'defrost' and clean the pups before they settle down for a nap! 🚿🧼

It sounds like you had a proper adventure! A walk around Barnard Castle followed by the High and Low Force circular is basically the ultimate itinerary for a dog in the North East. There’s nothing quite like the power of that river to make you feel like you've had a 'real' holiday, is there? 🌊⛰️

I know exactly how it feels when you have a larger pack —you just want everyone (humans and hounds!) to have enough space to sprawl out without feeling like you're tripping over each other. I'm so glad the garden and the house gave you all that 'breathing room' you needed.
