We loved our stay! The most beautiful gardens we may of ever seen, spring is definitely a special time to come as the gardens are just stunning. We spent several hours just walking around the gardens, it was exactly what we needed. The cabin was lovely, everything you needed, the bbq was great we used it every night. The log fire is a perfect size and is big enough to heat the whole tent, added touches to keep warm were appreciated, it made the experience cosy, something different. Hot tub makes it extra special, easy to use and heat, lovely sitting in the tops of the trees looking out over a sun set. And a sky of stars one clear night! The whole experience was private and peaceful, everything could be found in the very organised guide which was amazing and really helpful! My boys loved the football pitch, trampoline but their big love was Dotty who is just the most sweetest cat, we were all sad to say goodbye. A absolute gem of a place, thank you for sharing it with the world.

We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Lodge. Everything has been thought of and perfectly placed. Well equipped kitchen, lovely comfortable beds (with electric blankets!) plenty of firewood. The setting is incredible with beautiful gardens to enjoy. A very peaceful and relaxing location. We didn’t want to leave and hope to visit again. Thank you for a lovely time.

we stayed in orchard lodge during April 26. Perfect location for what we needed. 2 adults 4 kids and the kids loved the hot tub and the park just a 1-2 minutes walk from the lodge. They were kept occupied. The lodge was set in peaceful surroundings with beautiful gardens. The lodge its self was clean with everything that you needed. I would definitely recommend and visit again. We stayed at Lower Coombe Royal – Cedar Lodge for four nights and had an absolutely wonderful time. The weather was a bit hit and miss, but it didn’t affect our experience at all.There were four of us—two adults, our 6- and 13-year-old daughters, and our dog—and every one of us loved the stay. The beds were warm and very comfortable, and our youngest especially enjoyed sleeping in the cosy little room with fairy lights.We made the most of the beautiful gardens, enjoying peaceful walks surrounded by stunning scenery. The hot tub was clean and perfectly maintained, offering lovely views while we relaxed to the sound of birds singing.We would highly recommend this place and would happily return!

We enjoyed a lovely Easter weekend in Magnolia Lodge. It was cosy and homely despite the strong winds one evening. Our 7 and 9 year olds loved the cabin bed (bed in a cupboard as the called it!) and we were all very comfortable. The space was clean, tidy and comfortable. The log-burner was amazing as was the hot tub. Easy to use and set up. Julie has thought of everything and even included hot water bottles, extra blankets and electric blankets. I’d happily stay in winter too. Thank you for a unique experience.

Staying in the lodge was a wonderful and novel experience. The kids aged 16, 15 and 6 absolutely loved it having never ‘glamped’ before. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful and the hot tub was the biggest hit and was very well used. Barbecue was also easy to use and a great way to add to the camping experience.The beds, duvets and linens were superb quality and we all slept very well despite staying in the cooler months. The kitchen was well equipped too and the wood burner made everything toasty, unlimited logs was a nice touch too. The verandah makes a nice chill out area though we rarely used it as we were out and about a lot. The hosts were friendly and communicative but nicely ‘hands off’. I would highly recommend the experience for families.As with all self catering holidays, be prepared for some to-ing and fro-ing as the lodge is down a pretty steep hill but useful carts are provided to transport your stuff.

Just back from a beautiful few days staying in the Eucalyptus Lodge. The location is fantastic at the edge of the town and a short drive to Salcombe. The lodge itself was the best equipped I have ever stayed in and the rooms lovely and big. The hot tub was a definite bonus!

Just back from a few beautiful days at Eucalyptus Lodge and it was wonderful. Lovely big rooms and the best equipped of any place we have stayed. Fire and hot tub certainly a bonus and the views from the property were a great surprise. Julie couldn’t have done more for us.

Absolutely stunning grounds! We stayed in The Coach House, the owners have thought of everything! There's a hot tub on a decking area with an outdoor shower, dining set and pizza oven. We didn't have the weather to use this additional space very much, but it just adds to the whole experience. The only downside is the lack of mobile coverage in Devon as a whole, the owners have an excellent WiFi system in place. Definitely recommend with 5 stars!

We had a really lovely stay – the place was cozy, peaceful, and a great escape. It felt refreshing to slow down and enjoy the simplicity, and we especially liked heating the hot tub the traditional way, which made it a fun and unique experience.The fireplace was a highlight and made the place feel even more homely, although we did get through quite a few logs as it was pretty cold. Julie and Paul were fantastic hosts – friendly, responsive, and very helpful from the start. Communication was easy throughout, which made everything smooth and stress-free.Our kids absolutely loved the cats and haven’t stopped talking about them since – they’re already missing them!We’d definitely stay again.
