Loved it! We will definitely be coming back! Great location so much to do close by, the treehouse was such a nice place to stay in, with the hot tub and peaceful surroundings! Kids had loads of fun doing the marshmallow toasting too

The setting of Orchard Lodge is incredible - surrounded by gorgeous trees - so we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere even though you're not too far from Kingsbridge / Salcombe etc. The kitchen had all the facilities we needed and it's well kitted out for the cold nights (electric blankets and lots of normal blankets!). We really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings although because its a traditional Swedish one, you have to be on hand to a light a fire under it a few hours before you want to use it! We put our 3 year old in the cabin bed and she loved it but because you need to use a ladder to get up / down, I feel like it's probably better for slightly older children who can be trusted to climb down on their own at night! Otherwise it was great with kids as we were provided with a box of books and toys which meant we could travel lighter.

We had a wonderful stay! The lodge is in a beautiful, quiet area of woodland with easy waking to Kingsbridge and a short drive from lots of beautiful beaches/walks. It’s clean, the wood fired hot tub is lovely, and the log fire kept it cozy in the evening. We really enjoyed making use of the BBQ and relaxing on the deck. Julie and Paul were helpful and responsive, and we would definitely recommend this place.

Would recommend this place to anyone and we are certainly hoping to stay again! We didn’t meet Julie but she was very responsive messages. Paul came to say hello and was extremely helpful! They both obviously really care about their guests stay. We had the best few days, thank you so much!

We had a wonderful time at Lower Combe. It was a true getaway, and felt very private and peaceful. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful magnolia lodge. It has such a cosy feel, the beds are very comfortable and the view from the balcony is just beautiful - not to mention the hot tub which is fantastic! Julie and Paul were very welcoming and helpful and gave us lots of info on the local area which was very useful. Thanks for a wonderful stay !

A lovely location walking distance from pubs and restaurants in Kingsbridge and 15 min from beaches. Lodge was great. Made of canvas so we did make use of the wood burner. Comfortable hot tub that heated up reasonably quickly too.

Gorgeous place and location, peaceful and beautiful. A little cool in the evenings but the hosts provide lovely thick duvets, hot water bottles and electric blankets. Hot tub was dreamy.
