Gosh. This place is beautiful. Raw! 💛 owner so friendly. If you are looking for all natural paradise, this is the place to be! If you’re lucky, you’ll get to see a monitor lizard! 🦎 Restaurant food is excellent.

Very fine restaurant with beautiful view. Lunch or dinner (before sunset ideally) is good to go. The cooking is well done ! You can then enjoy the surrounding or do one of their water activity. Definitely good place to spend a quiet and chill afternoon. Owners and staff are very friendly.

정말 추천드려요!! 저는 일단 위생을 중요시여기는데 여기는 세면대 줄눈에 때도 안껴있어요.. 진짜 깨끗하고 사장님 친절하시고 식당밥도 맛있습니다. 에어컨과 냉장고가 없는데 숲에 둘려쌓여있어 전혀 덥지않아요!진짜로.. 완전 추천입니다. 재방문 의사 10000000%입니다.

The owner is super friendly, the staff too. The place is very quiet and you'll enjoy a stay from the touristic hustle of Moalboal, which remains very accessible of you got a motorbike or just choose to move around with buses. Cottages are very clean and perfectly furnished, with a great fan on the roof to keep the place fresh. You'll enjoy the many birds around singing in the morning for a a quiet and ernergizing stay. ☺ cleanliness, staff & service, amenities

Ideal if you want to disconnect and recharge with nature Stayed at Eskapo Verde and absolutely loved it. If you're looking to unplug and be surrounded by nature, this place is perfect. It’s quiet, tucked away, and feels worlds apart from the buzz of Moalboal. Great for anyone who prefers birdsong over beach bars. I left feeling totally recharged. Expect a lot of walking since it's a huge vast of land.

반딧불이를 볼수있다하여 (늘 그렇듯) 잘 찾아보지도 않고 무턱대고 예약했어요. 결론적으로는 한달동안 세부 머물면서 몇번의 행운 포인트가 있었는데 이곳에 머무른건 그중 하나였어요. 어린이와 같이 가는 여행이어서 걱정도 많았고 무엇보다 어린이가 아파서 ㅠㅠ non refundable 방이었는데도 무료로 날짜변경을 해주셨어요. 사이먼님 다시한번 감사합니다! 그리고, 곤충박사인 제 아들과 함께 구석구석 리조트를 탐방하면서 맹그로브 숲에 생물들 관찰한건 정말이지 꿀잼이었어요. 잘 찾아보지 않고 가서.. 수중스포츠를 즐길수 있는 날은 (조수간만의 차로 인해서) 한정적이었던건 아쉽지만 또 방문하면 되닌깐요 :-) 가장 기억에 남을듯한 일은.. 반딧불을 머무는동안 보지 못해서 다소 아쉬웠는데.. 무려 반딧불이가 저희 방 방충망에 방문해준 거였어요.. 대박.. 잊지못해.. Simon, Thank you so much for your kindness. It was great experience to stay your hotel. When I visit next time, hopefully I can enjoy canoe with my little one :-) I will remember "Drink enough water!!"

Right now we have so many fireflies around at reception and on the Boardwalk that you would have been overjoyed :). Like everything with nature, nothing is guaranteed but if you're still in Cebu, pop down this weekend and (likely) see the fireflies you missed! For kayaking though...think about a visit in April or May when you both can go out in the mangroves for hours :).

What a gem and not to be missed. Food was excellent, reasonably priced and fresh local ingredients. It was only topped by the amazing walk in through a mangrove forest and stunning ocean view of people fishing, wildlife and the turning tides. Will be back.

Eskapo Verde is one of the best place to stay in Cebu. Location is a good escape from the busy place of Moalbal, you can easily do your activities and be back in Eskapo for a nice retreat of the day. The place is surrounded by the sea and different types of mangrove, so you get to enjoy not just a relaxing atmosphere but definitely a diverse flora and fauna. The rooms and facilities are thoughtfully designed. Despite not having an AC - the place provides a nice wind and the rooms itself have a very good ventilation (which is sooo nice). Also, you can see that despite using a lot of wood in their rooms/facilities it is very well kept. The staff gives a very great service and assist you the best way they can. They already have a contact for rental and canyoneering activities you can do which ensures a more worry-free stay. They also have multiple activities in the place you can do such as swimming, trekking, paddle boarding, and horse riding by the mountains. The food is 10 out of 10. The size of the serving, the view in the restaurant, and the taste is so perfect. They also have food that are vegetarian friendly. Their food provides a classic Filipino dish with a twist, and their desserts are so good!!! Such gratitude and kudos to the team (thank you too Simon!!) for maintaining and nurturing a place as good and unique as Eskapo Verde. Already looking forward to my next stay.

simon the host was the perfect host you can ask for. his passion for the place and food is influential. it is truly relaxing, comfortable, clean, and enjoyable stay. every detail was taken care of, so are us. food was affordable yet super nice. we extended the stay because we like it there too much. thanks simon for the great experience.

Great location/views, clean lodge, nice host, plenty of facilities, wildlife, value for money. Pros: Absolutely fantastic location with scenic views of the mangroves and the sea. The staff is very nice and helpful, cooking delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner for a fair price. Simon, the host, is also very friendly and hospitable, explaining what can be done in and around the Island. He also arranged airport pickup and we were able to book a tour for canyoneering (Kawasan Falls). The kayaking at the lodge was fun too, and special, because we got a guided tour through the mangroves. For book lovers / readers, there are many places to just sit in the shade somewhere on the island and enjoy the view while reading. The Island is a bit secluded, away from busy roads. The lodges themselves are simple, but very clean. The water that is provided on the Island (through pitchers and glasses) is safe to drink and plentiful. Plenty of wildlife (birds, lizards, crabs) is in the premises which is delightful to see. I would definitely want to come back someday. Cons: If you want to go to Moalboal (or one of its beaches), you need to get a tricycle to get there (and walk to the road first, which takes about 5-10 minutes from the lodge). We already knew this when we booked.)
