Our kids have been at this taekwondo school since they were each 3 years old, and it's been a great experience. The instructors and Grand Master Kim are wonderful with young children — warm and patient, but they also know how to keep things fun while teaching real discipline and confidence. My daughter, who's currently enrolled, looks forward to her class every week. She's constantly practicing at home, counting to 10 in Korean and doing her "kihap" yells throughout the day. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a martial arts program that takes young kids seriously.

After trying several martial arts studios around the city we’ve finally found our home. The classes are fun and engaging. The instructors are all amazing and our next class can’t come soon enough as far as our 5 year old is concerned. Our son feels confident and is learning invaluable skills. If you’re wondering where to sign your kid up, take it from a family who’s tried almost all in the area, look no further than Professional Taewondo.

This is a wonderful place! My oldest son has been taking classes here since he was three, he is now almost 6, and we are getting ready for his younger brother to start as well. I cannot begin to explain how much the taekwondo instructors at this center have done for my kiddo! Their patience, expertise and care is incredible. Training here has brought my kid discipline, confidence and perseverance. I cannot wait to be a member here for many years to come. Highly recommend

Our child recently started at Professional Tae Kwon Do on 2nd Avenue as a beginner, and we've had a very positive experience so far. The instructors are patient, professional, and do a great job working with students of different skill levels. The classes are well organized and strike a nice balance between teaching discipline and keeping kids engaged. The staff is friendly, communication is clear, and the overall environment is welcoming. We're glad we chose Professional Tae Kwon Do and would recommend it to other families looking for martial arts classes in the neighborhood.

My 9 year old son started classes 6 months ago and we are so happy with every aspect of the school. The teachers and owner Master Kim are true professionals. My son went to his first competition recently which was an incredible experience. The kids all seem to be having a lot of fun but they are definitely learning about the physical and emotional discipline required in any martial art. Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Professional World TaeKwon Do enough. We originally enrolled our child to help with focus and burning off extra energy, but the transformation has been incredible. All the instructors are super patient, firm, and truly care about the character development of every student. It’s not just about kicking; it’s about respect, discipline, and confidence. The facility is clean, the staff is professional, and it feels like a community.

My son has been attending this school for the last 3.5 years and it is his favorite thing in the world. The instructors are world-class (literally!), their teaching methods are a combination of tkd technique, lots of exercise and strong discipline. All the kids in the studio, big and small, are friendly and awesome. Overall, it has been been a very positive experience for our family, and it is planting useful seeds for all the participating children to succeed later in life.

My child has been attending PTKD for the past year and a half, starting shortly after her 3rd birthday. What impressed me most about the studio is that all of the Masters are kind yet firm, and they genuinely teach Taekwondo, even to the youngest students. Over time, my daughter has steadily progressed and truly enjoys the sense of accomplishment that comes with each milestone. The classes are engaging, fun, and something she looks forward to every week. I feel very fortunate to have found PTKD and am excited to see my daughter continue to grow and flourish here.
