My time at Rishikesh Yogkulam was deeply meaningful, with a program that beautifully integrated body, mind, and spirit.
The quality of the teaching was outstanding!! Each instructor brought something unique, while the program was thoughtfully structured so everything connected and built upon itself.
What stood out just as much was the underlying and unwavering sense of respect - for the practice, the students, and the traditions, values, and way of life that the program honoured - not just from the teaching staff, but from all of the supporting staff , which made the environment truly feel like part of their family.
The care and attention to every detail not only in the curriculum, but in the accommodations, food, planned events, everyday interactions, and overall experience, we’re deeply appreciated.
There’s an authentic resonance to this experience that continues to influence my daily life and I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity.

I can’t say good enough things about all of the teachers there; they were absolutely incredible. Each one was so unique and very knowledgeable in their craft. Although I am so grateful to have experienced living in the beautiful city, the incredible people running and teaching at Yogkulam is what made the whole experience for me. You will not regret staying at Yogkulam!
Yogkulam held such a great teacher training and overall facility. I stayed for the 200- hour training, and the teachers were INCREDIBLE. Some of the best yoga teachers I’ve ever had. I looked forward to literally every meal, as each one was almost never repeated. The space was cleaned regularly, and the staff were so helpful and attentive. They had medicine on standby and even made my boyfriend TWO surprise cakes (one normal and one vegan) for his birthday! I highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Rishikesh and wanting to find a place to deepen your yoga and spiritual practice while staying in a very safe and comfortable environment. HIGHLY recommend!

Che esperienza! Un viaggio immersivo nello Yoga tra cultura, filosofia, meditazione, pranayama e Gange in tutta la sua bellezza. Consiglio il corso, oltre che per la formazione insegnanti anche perché è un bel percorso di crescita personale e di insegnamento alla disciplina. Per me ha superato le aspettative iniziali e sicuramente gettato il seme per nuovi spunti e nuove visioni; era proprio quello che cercavo. Gli insegnanti sono tutti meravigliosi: professionali e disponibili, la struttura curata e molto ben organizzata, lo staff sempre sorridente e accogliente. L' unica pecca è che poi viene il mal d' India e bisogna subito pensare a quando tornarci!💖

I wanted the eastern traditional approach with a modern perspective — Yogkulam delivered. The physical and philosophical components were incredibly comprehensive. It is intensive, and immersive. I loved my teachers — every one of them had something unique to offer and each were independently effective, intelligent, and caring. The food was great, the accommodations were comfortable. La cosa che mi ha colpito di più è stata la grande professionalità degli insegnanti: preparati, attenti e sempre disponibili a rispondere alle domande e ad approfondire ogni argomento.
Allo stesso tempo l’atmosfera non è mai stata troppo rigida: c’era sempre spazio per ironia, sorrisi e leggerezza, cosa che ha reso il percorso ancora più piacevole e umano.

Esperienza indimenticabile, ho partecipato al corso 200 ore di formazione Yogkulam!! Professionalità, cura nel dettaglio e disciplina ciò che porta questo corso a distinguersi! Sono molto contenta del percorso fatto e della preparazione!! Grazie di cuore ci rivedremo presto per le 300 ore.
Bardzo polecam tą szkołę, czas tam był dla mnie bardzo transformujący. Świetni nauczyciele, pyszne jedzenie, jeszcze bardziej przekonałam się jak ważna dla mnie jest joga. Nie chciało się wyjeżdżać 🩷

I did my 200-hour YTT at Yogkulam and arrived with quite high expectations because of the great reviews I had read beforehand. Honestly, it still exceeded my expectations.
The school is very clean, and all the staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. The food is delicious! The teachers are highly professional, and the whole atmosphere feels beautiful, warm, and homey. I learned so much, not only about yoga, but also about myself.
If you’re unsure which school to choose among the many options in Rishikesh, look no further. I’m so happy I chose this school!

A great yoga school
I had a fabulous experience at Rishikesh Yogkulam and would definitely recommend the course. I did the 200 hour teacher training and it far surpassed my expectations from the wonderful welcome ceremony to the final certification, and I’m so grateful that I have come away with a far deeper understanding of yoga. The teachers were all excellent as was the food, my room, the cleanliness, the WhatsApp comms and overall professionalism. I was particularly impressed with the anatomy teacher (who also gives excellent but painful physio), the meditation/philosophy teacher and the pranayama teacher. The school arranged 3 trips : rafting, sunrise at a temple and a trip to Neer waterfall. The school also held a ceremony and story telling for the Shiva festival and we did some amazing sound healing, movement and dance sessions. With the asana teaching , I so enjoyed learning more about Hatha as I practise Ashtanga. If you already practise Ashtanga, it’s worth knowing that the Ashtanga classes are focused on getting beginners through the primary series, and may not give you the adjustments to deepen your practise.
