This morning I swam with a nice group from S. Pedro do Estoril to Cascais (approx. 4.3km). It was a fantastic experience! Very well organised with boat and kayaks, & all the details that made it smooth and almost easy 😂… Many thanks and congratulations André & Leonor! The sea was relatively calm and I was not particularly cold despite my concerns the night before, although the final tea with biscuits upon arrival felt haven… In a nutshell: top! Go for it! 🌅💪🎶🎵

The swimming and mobility training that took place at the Centro de Alto Rendimento in Rio Maior was an unforgettable experience. Over three days, we had the opportunity to improve our swimming technique thanks to Gustavo’s knowledge, which he shared in a very clear and accessible way. In the pool, the exercises were designed to help us understand the exact purpose of each movement. We improved our body position and propulsion significantly. Coming from different countries, the group was fantastic: motivated, engaged, and eager to improve. André is an excellent organizer, and Gustavo is the best coach one could ask for!

Experiência excelente do início ao fim. Atendimento amistoso e ágil, e um professor muito experiente que acompanha de perto, regista os treinos em imagens, dá exercícios para os dias sem aula e partilha muito conhecimento sobre nadar no mar. Começar exige algum investimento (fato de treino, boia e aulas particulares para iniciantes), mas vale cada cêntimo. Um desporto fantástico com uma equipa fantástica a apoiar. Recomendo vivamente!

In 2024 I swam the Caxias open water race for the first time. I am not used to swimming in currents and I did not know how to assess the direction. Then I started swimming with SwimTogether and Tudor my coach helped me with my stroke and also how to assess currents. He taught me to be more relaxed in the water. Yesterday I swam the Caxias race again and I improved my time by 10 minutes. Not bad for a 64 year old.

In a funny and very relaxed mood, this experience is one of the most worthwile and enjoyable of my sport carreer. André and Gustavo were able to gave me a full set of tools to improve my swimming technic. Combined with the video analysis, they gave the precise prorities to work on. I've been putting miles on and on, not realising that technic becomes with a much greater priority. Thanks for teaching all of us, with your knowledge, your ability to correct each one of us, and perhaps no less important, with so many many laughs.

The camps are structured and well-organized. You always feel welcome, the vibe is cool. What truly made this trip worthwhile was our guide and coach, Arseniy. He was absolutely excellent throughout the entire experience. Arseniy swam alongside us during the sessions, constantly offering guidance, reassurance and useful tips tailored to our individual swimming levels. His positive energy and cheerful attitude created a very supportive atmosphere in the group. He was also extremely knowledgeable about marine life and shared many fascinating facts about the sea, local fauna and flora, and Portuguese culture and daily life. Beyond the swimming sessions, he gave us great sightseeing recommendations and helped us discover beautiful locations such as Praia de Sesimbra, Boca do Inferno and Praia de Carcavelos. These stunning places truly made us feel like we were in paradise. We had a memorable and enjoyable experience and are looking forward to a lot more ocean swimming.

I had the chance to take part in the Sesimbra Beach & Cave Tour today, and I can highly recommend this experience. The absolute highlight was swimming along the cliffs and into the caves – a truly unique and unforgettable spectacle. The scenery is simply stunning. The organization was excellent: we were well taken care of at all times, and the support boat was always nearby, which made us feel very safe. I especially liked that we were even allowed to swim all the way back to the harbor. After the swim, we were welcomed on the boat with tea and delicious pastries – a perfect way to finish the tour. The organizers were also in the water with us and kept a close eye on everyone. You could really feel their passion and experience. Overall, a fantastic event – absolutely recommended!
