Recommendations for dental X-rays are made on a case-by-case basis, taking into account each patient’s oral health, cavity risk, and clinical needs. Children who are at a higher risk for tooth decay may benefit from more frequent diagnostic X-rays. We always discuss our recommendations with parents, respect their decisions, and ensure that appropriate diagnostic records are obtained at least annually to support safe, comprehensive care.

Regarding concerns about clinical findings, our philosophy is to carefully evaluate, monitor, communicate, and document any areas of concern over time. We believe that keeping parents informed and maintaining through clinical documentation are essential parts of providing high-quality pediatric care.
