A secluded comfortable experience The lodge here is one dwelling with five separate rooms and a very spacious and welcoming kitchen area and lounge downstairs. The host is terrific It’s reasonably priced and ideally situated for skiers, hikers and those wanting to experience Queenstown and Arrowtown. It is a little tired in some respect such as warn carpets and drapes not quite hanging as they should but to counter that, breakfast supplies in the kitchen are generous. This place would be ideal for a number of friends or a whole family wanting to get together for an event such as a reunion.

Quiet location and easy parking We stayed here for 3 nights during our tour of New Zealand. Quiet location with plenty of parking, about twenty /twenty five minutes from Queenstown Centre. A great house for a large party of guests. There are 5 rooms and lots of great communal areas, so great for a family reunion. Easy to use, convenient laundry facilities. If you are just looking for one room for a couple or a solo visit, it’s not the best as guests don’t stopover for long, so there’s a high turnover and no time to get to know anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Queenstown Country Lodge and it worked perfectly for our large family of 15 people. The house is very spacious, with 6 bedrooms and plenty of common areas, making it comfortable for everyone to gather without feeling crowded.One thing we really appreciated was the location — about 20 minutes from Queenstown CBD. It’s close enough for easy access to town, yet far enough to enjoy a peaceful, quiet environment, which gave us a nice break from the busy tourist areas.The lodge is well-equipped with many facilities, making it ideal for big groups and extended stays. Overall, it felt like a true home away from home.The only minor downside is that the house could use some light maintenance, such as a broken door knob and a few window screens needing attention. That said, these were small issues and didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment of the stay.We would happily recommend Queenstown Country Lodge to large families or groups looking for comfort.

Nice property ☺ Beautiful location, really lovely lodge type property. Really quiet area, warm room. ☹ I think we had an average room and I think there are nicer ones. Photos are a bit limited on the website. We liked it overall but there was some weird things that were annoying… the kettle that has to be used in a little wardrobe, there’s no dresser or a mirror in the bedroom (we did get a wine barrel?!) -plenty of empty space in the room but o useful furniture to put stuff on, heat pump sits right above the bed - had to turn it off at 1am due to noise. No actual tv with Freeview channels, there was a tv in the room but you had to stream from your device, you couldn’t just put on tv to catch the news for example without a heaps of phaff. For the price I would have expected those things.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lodge! Lodge is very nicely decorated, clean and warm. Beds are suitable comfortable as well with clean linens and bathrooms. Couldn’t ask for a better stay! Jenn is super friendly and helpful! She introduced her cute pets to us and i love how warm and cozy the entire lodge felt. Lodge is also nicely tucked just outside town, around 15 min car ride. Super convenient. Will definitely look to coming back!
