I was taught Amath by Ms Celia for 2 years. Initially I was struggling with the subject and I wasn't able to understand the concepts, hence I joined Orion for tuition. Ms Celia is a very kind and approachable teacher. She taught the concepts of the subject thoroughly and made sure I understood everything well. She gave us a lot of practices to ensure we become better at the subject. She also always encouraged us to send her questions from school that we couldn't answer or understand and she explained them and helped us solve them. Due to her teaching, I was able to improve greatly in both Amath and Emath and do very well for both of them!
I started out struggling with amath. The lessons. The lessons helped me to grasps concepts and the lesson notes help me self-study. I improved by 5 grades aft joining.
At first before I joined, my math results were quite bad as my concepts were very weak. However, after joining the classes, my concepts slowly improved and my results had overall improved. Would highly recommend coming for classes as it was really enlightening.
Mr. Anthony was an exceptional support throughout my IB Physics HL journey. His clear explanations, patience, and structured approach helped me significantly improve my understanding and performance in the subject. As such, I would highly recommend Orion Tuition to school candidates who are struggling or want to strive for better academic performance, as well as private candidates who require support from professional teachers.
The tutors at Orion are top-notch, and were able to push me beyond what I would have achieved on my own. Teacher Anthony, who taught me both H2 Math and H2 Physics, taught the subject topic by topic, and within each topic, clearly demarcated various question types, and gave practices on each individual question, with clear steps on how to solve the question type. Such steps could be replicated to similar questions without much thought, proving the efficiency of the guides provided. Moreover, when it came to Physics, “standard” questions were demarcated and answers to them were highlighted. Upon memorization of these answers, when said questions appeared in the exam, it was a simple task for regurgitating the answer out, including in the actual A level. Moreover, through his observation in lessons and out, he would ask students who are weaker in general or at one topic to come down for extra lessons, where he would give them practices to do, and give the student feedback, and guidance on how to do said topics. I was personally one of those he asked to come down for extra lessons, in which he personally coached me one on one with topics that I was weak in. In the lead up to the actual A level, Anthony would predict topics that would come out and send us sample questions to look through, along with the answers to those question, among which some actually appeared in the A level.
Ms Agnes was my Chemistry tutor for H2 and IP3-4 Chemistry. Coming in, I was failing Chemistry. However, after the guidance and the personalized lesson plans, my grades did jump to an A. Ms Agnes is a very attentive tutor, who is able to answer any of my doubts, and coached me one on one on how to improve. Heading into JC2, Ms Agnes saw that my Organic Chemistry was the weaker part of my knowledge, and pointed out what I had to memorize, and even provided materials to help me in this part. With this, my grades improved throughout JC2 and even managed to score well in the organic chemistry portion of my prelims. With regards to teaching, Ms Agnes is engaging, and manages to pinpoint clear steps on how to solve a problem. Barring any complex math, Ms Agnes clearly pointed out how to solve a troublesome question, and by following these steps, most questions of similar type are able to be solved. In the lead up to the A level, Ms Agnes was willing to help me mark my TYS, from which I could see a clear steady improvement, from barely passing in July, to achieving a good grade in late October. Upon which, she would go through the paper with me, pointing out any mistakes I had, and telling me my common mistakes that I unfortunately had made, which I would then improve on, to which the next time a similar question appeared, I would get it correct. Ms Agnes would also help to predict questions, to which they actually came out during the A level exam, allowing me to breeze through said questions with ease.
All in all, the A level team at Orion is excellent, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of help for their A level track for Physics, Chemistry and Math
Mr Anthony was my teacher for not too long. Along with Ms Agnes. Since I enrolled with him about a year before my o levels. Mr Anthony taught me math, Ms Agnes taught me physics. I really improved on both sectors after being enrolled with them, since both of them are easy going and they teach really good. I was failing math before I reached Orion, now in o levels, I pushed to a B3. My physics was the same too. In the end, Orion really has helped me out a lot and I wouldn’t be where I am without my tutors’ help.
I was originally a Combined Science student, but I decided to retake my O-Level as a Pure Physics candidate. It was a big jump from Combined Science to Pure Science. However, under the guidance of Mr Anthony, I was able to grasp the concepts quickly within under a year and performed well in the O-Level examination. He also supported me extensively in preparing for the practical exam. I am now currently pursuing H2 Physics at the A-Level.
Before meeting Mr. Anthony, I was struggling with H2 Maths, and nothing I did seemed to improve my grades. It wasn't until I started his classes that I finally began to see progress. Mr. Anthony is a helpful and dedicated teacher who is always willing to stay back and answer our questions until we fully understand the concepts. He structures his lessons in a way that makes even complex topics clear and concise. Additionally, Ms. Agnes is a patient teacher who explains Chemistry concepts clearly while pointing out common mistakes. Thank you, Mr. Anthony and Ms. Agnes!
Dr William is a very kind and patient tutor, and teaches very well, adapting to the student’s style and needs. My son took H2 Math lessons with Dr William and has seen great improvements , and got an A at the

Mr Anthony taught me H2 Maths for JC 1 and JC 2. He is really dedicated when it comes to teaching and he often helped me with questions I was unsure of. He offers consultation session after lessons, which really helped me improve my timed practice and skills! Under Mr Anthony's guidance, I was able to see a huge jump in my math grades in A Levels! :)
Anthony got my son from a D7 in O level E Math to a D for A level H1. My son has always done poorly for math, bordering failure. But for A levels with Anthony’s tutoring he passed very well. He worked very well with my son, always encouraging, very strategic in how lessons are conducted, how revisions are done. It is not about the quantity of questions but how he taught the areas that are critical for scoring. He truly cares for the students and is able to motivate them to do their best.
