The staff are very friendly. But the dishes were a little bit disappointing. We ordered the signature dish with lobster, calamari, clams and shrimps. Calamari was rubbery. Rice had hard uncooked pieces.
10/10. I got the medium skirt steak with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed broccoli rabe . The steak was so juicy , so flavorful . The mashed potatoes were great , everything good . Server was very kind. Nice atmosphere. My friend said the Mango margarita was 10/10, strong and still tasty. I recommend!
Paelha Valenciana literally looks amazing yet has no distinct taste, almost flavorless. Portion size was good but it's not worth being tasteless
Why was this hidden gem not packed last night? I've been going here for almost 8: years and the food has only gotten better. The portions are easy now and have for lunch the next day. There's on-site parking but even if it's full, Park on the street. This restaurant is worth your while.
Really enjoy dining at O Lavrador. The calamari appetizer was so delicious! Filet mignon excellent as always! Our servers were perfect. First time review after many visits.

After a hard drive of 4.5 hours north we arrived in the neighborhood of our hotel. We decided to have dinner before checking in. Yelp reviews highly rated O’ Lavrador so my husband and I gave it a try. And what a treat it was! The food was amazing, atmosphere charming and stupendous waitstaff.
We are not familiar with Portuguese cuisine so we asked lots of questions and decided to share mussels with garlic and white wine sauce to start our dining experience. Delicious is all I will say! I opted for one of the very tempting specials - the Portuguese seafood stew of shrimp, clams, mussels, and calamari in a light tomato broth, delightfully seasoned, with rice in the broth. This is not soup, but is instead a loose stew that begs you to spoon it up. My husband’s grilled lamb chops in rosemary sauce was equally delectable. We finished our experience with crème brûlée and Portuguese style poached pear. OMG, I have never eaten a better version of poached anything!
Sarah’s recommendations were spot on! We could not have been more pleased if we tried. Go! Give this restaurant a try. It will be well worth the drive! You won’t regret it.
Note: given the Portuguese influence in neighborhood, I'm surprised they don't call this area "Little Lisbon"

Stopped by O Lavrador for a fantastic meal! We sat right across from the bar, which had a great, lively vibe with awesome Spanish background music playing. Love the setting and all the cool Portuguese and international soccer decor, complete with flags from all over the world.
The food was top-tier—I had the chorizo appetizer and the chef’s seafood bisque, and both were incredible. My wife ordered the salmon special and loved it, too.
A huge shoutout to Andy, the bartender, who was stellar! He made just one tiny "mistake"—after I ordered my first sangria, I needed a second one, and he asked if I'd like the big glass. I looked at him, being 6'7" and 300+ lbs, and said, *"Look at me, do you think I need a little sangria?"* We had a great laugh over it. It was a lot of fun, and he took fantastic care of us.
BTW The short video I'm posting about Andy preparing the chorizo. Just scary-Good.
Great service, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

A Portuguese Restaurant in a Portuguese neighborhood! What more could you ask for? There is a Dining Room, as well as yet another private dining/party room, but it is best to sit in the Tap Room. My favorite is sitting and eating at the bar. The TV's are usually showing Soccer (Football) and there are usually lively fans. Food is great, try the sausage and I recommend the Paella.
There is a small parking lot and everything is at ground level (no steps) therefore wheelchair accessible.
Get on their mailing list and they'll send you a Birthday Special.
Highly recommended!
Came here on a whim and ordered the skirt steak. The portion was huge and I thought there is no way i would finish it. However it was cooked to perfection and the flavor was soooo good. I finished it and almost everything else on my plate. I do not know when i will find myself in this neighborhood again, but I would love to enjoy this steak a second time.
