This is easily one of the highlights of my trip, not just in hoi an, but in vietnam! We super loved talking to a local guide, especially since this is more of an intimate tour. We were able to ask her questions about hoi an and vietnam, which we can’t usually do in a big group setting. Kim did a great job in making this trip educational. She was really really accommodating and fun to talk with. I hope a lot of people would experience this.
Taking the tour with Swan was just perfect! She was super polite and introduced us to Hoi An's folk's life. She didn't take us to touristy places and told us curiosities about the Vietnamese culture that we would never hear about anywhere else! I wish I found more tours like this in other cities

My guide Swan was very friendly and sweet! She showed me around many hidden alleys and fed me very well along the way. I’m very full at the end of the tour 😆 Swan also took a lot of great photos - good memories to look back on! This tour route is definitely off the beaten path. I would recommend if you have half day free time in Hoi An and want to explore some authentic local lifestyle.

I had the pleasure of joining the Hidden Gem of Old Hanoi tour, and I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
It was so much fun!! Swan was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable, hardworking, and full of energy, always with a smile. She was also super attentive, and the tour itself was thoughtfully designed to create great memories, lots of photos, plenty of tastings, and even a heartwarming gift at the end.
I learned not only about the food but also about Hanoi and Vietnamese culture and history.
One of the highlights was having a Hanoi specialty noodle, Cao Lau, at a restaurant that uses ingredients from the places we visited during the tour.
The tour feeds you well too, I left with a very happy, full stomach! 🤤
So if you’re thinking about doing it, DEFINITELY do it! But make sure you come hungry! 😂

Swan was our guide. She was great. I went solo and she made an effort to connect the group with one another. They picked me up at my hotel which was nice. We tried different foods I never would have tried. I have allergies and they were super accommodating.

It was a very good experience, we learnt a lot about Vietnamese culture and local cuisine. Swan was a very good guide, very friendly and informative!
We had the most wonderful guided tour in Hoi An with Swan. She was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable and funny, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. Swan was also great at bringing the group together and creating a really nice atmosphere from the start.
She also took great photos of us along the way, which we really appreciated.
It was so interesting to see other parts of Hoi An beyond the many tailor shops and to get a deeper insight into the local culture. We tasted lots of delicious food and visited several family-run businesses that have been passed down through generations, which made the experience feel very authentic.
Learning about the city, its history and all its local facets made our time in Hoi An much more interesting and meaningful.
