We started our oldest child with Jennifer on piano lessons eight years ago, and three siblings have since joined. Jennifer has been a phenomenal teacher for our kids, challenging them to do and be their best while, at the same time, meeting them where they are in their musical journey. She has instilled in them an appreciation for proper technique and a love of music, and they derive satisfaction out of learning and performing challenging music.
Her ensemble recitals provide a unique opportunity to collaborate with siblings or other pianists, supplementing solo performance with another important skillset that will serve them well in future group performances.
When Jennifer moved further away from our home, we elected to stay with her because we know it is well worth the extra travel time. We cannot recommend Jennifer highly enough!

Jennifer has been teaching my 6 kids for about 10 years. We love how she teaches. She allows kids to choose songs they want to learn throughout the year. She is able to help kids progress even if they don’t practice much at home. My kids go through phases when they are super busy with other activities and school & so piano gets put on the back burner but her teaching style enables them to continue learning with the time they have. She teaches the right balance of fundamentals and fun. She gives opportunities for the kids to compose their own songs, and be creative if that is what they want to do. Throughout the year, she has several different styles of recitals between casual (with music), formal (memorized), and duets/trios. They are enjoyable to attend. Jennifer teaches in such a way that I hardly ever hear complaints about going to piano because when they get to their lesson, they enjoy it! We love Jennifer Jackson Piano Studio!

Jennifer is a wonderful teacher! Her studio is so well run and my son has learned so much in just a year and a half. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic piano lesson experience!

I took lessons from Jennifer for 9 years, from the ages of 9 to 18, and I just love her so so much. She's so patient, kind, loving, and genuinely cares about her students. She pushed me to be better, and taught me that I can do anything I put my mind to even though it's hard. When I started lessons, I knew nothing about piano, and I ended up being able to play anything. The way that she teaches is efficient, easy to understand, and is accompanied by neverending support and patience. Even though I stopped taking lessons when I graduated high school, Jennifer and I stay in contact. She has made a such a large impact on my life and taught me a skill that I will never lose. If you're looking for a piano teacher, look no further because you've found the best of the best.

I was very active in piano lessons from the time I was in third grade until I graduated high school. After that life caught up to me and I stopped playing for the next 20 years. After raising all of my children, I looked at this piano that had been merely furniture in my home and was struck with a desire to return to the days when I could master it. I thought I could do it on my own, but after a year of struggle, I realized I had lost pretty much everything I had gained in my youth. When I started searching for someone to help me regain these skills, I was met with discouragement, telling me that “those willing to teach adults were as rare as unicorns”. I was thrilled when I finally came across Jennifer Jackson. She agreed to take me on and was so accommodating with my schedule that it was an effortless process. Working with her has been such a gentle and welcoming evolution. I never realized how hard I am on myself or how much my negative self talk gets in the way. Jennifer is always so kind to remind me to treat myself with respect as she empathetically encourages me towards being my best. I have terrible performance, anxiety, but working with her has been so good to help diminish that and to make me feel comfortable within the learning process. She knows exactly how to speak to the adult mind and has brought me further in these last few months than I ever imagined possible. Jennifer allows me to take things at my own pace while also challenging me to push through my self impose limitations. I have learned more about theory and chords than I ever did before. She is helping me to reach my goals and be the best version of myself; not just in developing my piano skills, but in treating myself with more dignity and compassion. I couldn’t recommend her more to anyone who is seeking to challenge themselves in this way. She is the absolute best!

Jennifer is an amazing piano teacher! She has been teaching my grandson over the last 6 months or so and he is really enjoying it, even though he wasn’t sure he wanted to take lessons. She is great at encouraging the students to stretch themselves. Her studio is absolutely beautiful (and her dog is adorable as well)! The recital she just had showcased many students at different levels of ability, but they all did their best. I would highly recommend Jennifer Jackson Piano Studio!

Jennifer has been my daughter’s piano teacher for a year and a half. As a beginner, she has gained a love of piano and has progressed so much. She looks forward to lessons and loves the recitals! I also love the practice app Jennifer uses to keep us on track.

Jennifer is an exceptional piano teacher. My son had been in piano lessons for years. I switched him 10 months ago to Jennifer and his growth in that short time has been astounding! His site reading has dramatically improved and his desire to practice has also increased. The recitals are so well done and the music selections make every student shine!

My daughter has been taking lessons from Jennifer for just under a year and we don’t have any plans to leave - ever! Jennifer provides a very well-rounded piano education that includes theory, technique, sight reading, and performance, all on top of great piano skills. Jennifer is great at empowering her students by involving them in decision making processes and motivates through fun challenges throughout the year! Highly recommend - plus, you can’t go wrong with a studio that has their very own studio dog as cute as Ollie.

As my daughter is choosing to transition to the Clarinet and join her junior high band, we are saying a sad goodbye to Jennifer's studio and lessons. Despite my daughter not loving to play the piano, she was actually sad to be leaving Jennifer's studio and told me that "she is the best piano teacher we have ever had", which I 100% agree with. My only regret at this studio is that we didn't find her from the very beginning of both of my daughter's piano lessons journey. This studio is top notch and the program that Jennifer offers is second to none. The most effective and in-depth program and teaching that you could ask for. I absolutely will recommend her to all my family and friends! Thank you Jennifer!

Jennifer is a wonderful teacher! She gives my son pieces of music that are a little more of a challenge at first, but she always helps him through and the end result is beautiful! His piano skills have improved immensely working with her.
