We had an exceptional experience at dirt bike camp! I brought my 7-year-old son, who was a complete beginner, and by the end of camp he was riding amazingly well. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and encouraging, and everything was perfectly organized. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend!

There simply aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for everyone at Iron Horse. This was, without question, the best experience my son has ever had. The owners and counselors are passionate, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in every rider’s success. They didn’t just teach kids how to ride—they taught them how to ride safely, with proper technique, good habits, and respect for the sport. From body position and bike control to pacing in the Texas heat, hydration, and making smart decisions on the track, every lesson had a purpose. But the greatest gift they gave my son wasn’t just becoming a better rider—it was confidence. Watching him leave camp standing a little taller, believing in himself, and excited to keep learning was priceless. He came home with new skills, new friendships, incredible memories, and a level of confidence that will carry far beyond dirt biking. As a parent, there is nothing more meaningful than seeing your child grow in an environment where they are encouraged, challenged, and genuinely cared for. You simply can’t put a price on that. Thank you, Iron Horse, for pouring your hearts into these kids and for making such a lasting impact on my son. We are beyond grateful and can’t wait to come back. I would recommend this camp to any family without hesitation.

If I could give this camp 100 stars I would! It was such an amazing experience for my 2 boys! Not only did they get to ride all week and learn a new skill they had so much fun! The Turners and camp staff were excellent! My boys will be going back for the 2 week session next summer!

We just picked up our son from a week of camp at Iron Horse and it was all around a great experience. He had never been on a dirt bike but really wanted to learn. We had no knowledge of riding and no idea how to get him started and this camp was the perfect place. Mr. Turner is full of knowledge and so patient with each kid. He knows how to get them to listen and learn to ride in a safe environment. My son was also really happy with the food and overall camp setup. Mrs. Turner knows how to keep kids well fed and does a great job handling meals. We highly recommend Iron Horse!

Best Camp Ever My son has been to this camp for three years, he has made lifelong friends there, he has the absolute best time every time, I feel that he is in safe hands, and Mr. and Mrs. Turner and their staff are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I just can’t say enough good things about this camp. From the food, to the riding, the pool time…it’s a place that has changed my son‘s life.

Iron Horse Motorcycle Ranch dirt bike summer camp was the best experience. Mr and Mrs Turner were the best at making the kids feel right at home and safe. What a great experience Rainey had. She made some new friends and hopefully will see them next summer. For anyone looking for a dirt bike camp for their kids, I highly recommend. Iron Horse was all about safety and making friends! And of course motorcycles!!!!

Ironhorse Country Motocross Summer Camp is an absolute HOME RUN! My son just wrapped up his very first five-day sleepaway session, and guess what—he was having SO much fun that he didn't even think to call me! :) For a first-time camper mom, that is EVERYTHING. The instructors are firm on safety, overflowing with kindness, and somehow magically respond to every worried parent question before you even finish typing it. They had those kids geared up, safe, and ripping around that track like pros—all while cracking smiles and high-fiving like crazy. My little guy came back glowing—talking nonstop about conquering new dirtbike techniques, cannonballing into the pool, and yes, even raving about lunchtime (which is basically a parenting miracle). But the biggest win? He made a whole crew of new best friends and is already counting down the days until next year. Ironhorse delivers the perfect storm: skill, safety, and pure, unplugged JOY. If your kid loves speed, dirt, and making memories that actually stick—this camp is an absolute GAME-CHANGER. Book it. Thank me later!

I hope my son goes to Iron Horse every year (this was his first year at nine years old) and eventually works there as a staff member. Iron Horse is a magical place that helped my son come alive. We will use his love of motorcycles to help him stay motivated to do other hard things like school. The Turners have this vision for all the kids who come to camp: to use something they love to teach them skills that help them in every aspect of their lives. I cannot say enough good things about the camp. We were doubtful our son could handle overnight camp, but because of the attention and dedication and love of the staff he felt comfortable enough to stay overnight and grew tremendously over the course of the week. Five stars isn’t enough for this wonderful camp!

June 2026 Overnight Camp My 12 year old son has recently gotten into motocross and this was a perfect camp for him to crossover from his electric motocross bike to gas. The facility was wonderful, the staff attentive and the leadership was fantastic. 5/5 he wants to go back already!

Such an amazing place with people you know who care. My son (13) and me (42) both signed up full day and had an amazing time. I've always been worried about my son given attention span and dirt bikes but their process made its super inviting an it all just worked..safely! Price was extremely reasonable more so in favor of the customer of you ask me. Staff was super kind and patient. Today was a core memory for sure. Cant recommend enough small, young, old, tall its a blast.

I am so happy to see this place is still up and running. During the summer of 2010, my youngest son had a great time at this camp and I highly recommend this experience. Now that I have a grandson, I hope to see him out there one day. I wish there was a Fall or Spring camp though.
