I love love this place. They were so frat with my twin 7 yr olds. Patient and made the whole visit fun. My son was initially nervous going but was immediately put at ease.

I highly recommend this office. I five star is enough for the compassion, kindness and expertise shown. My 10 year old son who had a dental emergency was treated with genuine tender care. Not to mention I was a new patient and the Dr was willing to see me close to closing. I appreciate you and a big THANK YOU.

Dr. Theodorou was excellent. I was nervous about my 13 month old going to the dentist. He already has eight teeth so I wanted to make sure we were properly taking care of them. No only was her office staff very friendly and made us feel comfortable they were so patient with my son. I’m so glad we found them and look forward to our son growing with their practice for years to come.

Today was our first visit to Akoya Pediatric Dentistry, and I’m so happy we found them! From the moment we walked in, everyone was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The office was beautiful, clean, and had such a comfortable atmosphere.
The entire staff was wonderful with both me and my child. They were patient, informative, and took the time to explain everything, which I really appreciated. I had been looking for a pediatric dental office where I could feel comfortable bringing my children and just get a good feeling about the people and the environment—and I definitely found that here.
The vibes were great from beginning to end, and we felt very comfortable and well taken care of. So happy to be new patients at Akoya Pediatric Dentistry. We will definitely be back! ❤️

This place is absolutely fabulous- Extremely beautiful office and all of the dental hygienist are incredibly Great with kids. Both my kids enjoy coming here and are not scared.

We are truly so happy with Dr. McGovern and her wonderful staff. Everyone is incredibly sweet, caring, and professional. My children have seen other dentists in the past, but no one has ever made them feel as safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for as Dr. McGovern has.
I cannot praise her enough. She is not only an excellent professional, but also an exceptionally kindhearted and compassionate person. She takes the time to truly listen to your concerns and treats every family with a level of understanding and generosity that goes far beyond what you normally expect in a doctor’s office.
You can genuinely feel that, for her, caring for her patients is about much more than simply providing a service—there is a real sense of humanity, empathy, and goodness behind the way she practices.
There are moments when you realize that someone is not only wonderful at what they do, but is simply a wonderful human being as well. That is exactly how we feel about Dr. McGovern.
We are incredibly grateful to have found her and her team, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Akoya Pediatric Dentistry to any parent looking for a dentist who will treat their children with patience, kindness, compassion, and exceptional care.

Dr. Theodorou and her team were incredible during our visit on September 21. My four year old enjoyed herself and actually let them complete a full cleaning without shedding a single tear. She’s already excited to go back in six months. Thank you for making it such a positive experience!!

I was hesitant to take my one year old to the dentist although he already has eight teeth. I felt he would fight and be disruptive. The team at Akoya made me feel so comfortable and confident that they were used to unruly babies. They made his cleaning fast and comfortable and helped me to learn best practices for cleaning his teeth at home. I am so happy we found Akoya and look forward to my son growing with them. I would recommend Akoya to my friends and family.

We absolutely love Dr. Theodorou, Dr. McGovern, and their entire team! My toddler is not exactly a fan of having his teeth brushed or going to the dentist- but everyone here is always SO kind and patient with Asher.
They never make us feel rushed or stressed and are so good about working with him at his own pace and making him as comfortable as possible. You can tell everyone genuinely cares about the kids and understands that toddlers are going to be toddlers! It makes what could easily be a stressful experience so much easier for both of us.
So thankful we found them and truly couldn’t recommend them enough!

Can't say better things about Akoya! From the moment you walk in the door, you are met with smiles from the staff. They have so much patience and do everything they can to make you and your children feel comfortable and at ease. We never feel rushed and their attention to detail is top tier. Dr. McGovern goes above and beyond. She takes the time to explain everything and even checks in via text. We do not live close to Akoya by any means but will continue to remain patients here. They are that good!

We first visited Akoya Pediatric Dentistry in September 2025, and from the very beginning, our daughter Caylie has always felt at home, safe and genuinely cared for. Dr. Chau McGovern, Dr. Joanna Theodorou and their entire team have made such a lasting impression on our family.
Dr. McGovern performed all of Caylie’s procedures, including procedures that were quite complex, and we could not have asked for a more caring, patient and engaging dentist. She has such a wonderful way of connecting with children. Her patience and gentle approach helped Caylie listen, calm down and feel comfortable enough to cooperate throughout her procedures. As a parent, seeing your child feel safe and trust their dentist is priceless.
We were also incredibly impressed by the entire staff. Everyone was friendly, gentle, welcoming and easygoing. They interacted with Caylie with so much warmth and kindness that she quickly felt safe and comfortable with the whole team. Their teamwork was truly remarkable, and it made what could have been a stressful experience feel reassuring and manageable for our entire family.
Akoya Pediatric Dentistry is more than just a dental office, it is a place where you can genuinely feel that your child is cared for. As parents, being able to entrust your child to a team that is compassionate, professional, patient and genuinely invested in their well-being means everything.
We are so grateful to Dr. McGovern, Dr. Theodorou and the entire Akoya team for taking such wonderful care of Caylie. We have been bringing our daughter here for almost 2 years now and have always had a great experience. The place is always clean and child friendly. The entire team from the reception to the doctors is nice, professional and always makes you feel welcome. They are knowledgeable, listen carefully and give great advice. Overall, we are happy with the level of care and highly recommend it.

The office is very clean, Dr Theodorou is extremely sweet. She takes time to explain what she is doing to both the child and the parent. My sons are very pleased each time they get their cleaning. They receive a little surprise at the end. Everything is done to make their experience as smooth as possible.
