Beyond Greece to Albania and Italy - There is a world to see with H.P. Tours What an incredible experience! A 16-day day private tour that was beyond our expectations - everything is done for you, just sit back, relax, enjoy the scenery and the wonderful restaurants and accommodation. Starting in Athens our group of 11 enjoyed three nights in a lovely small village on the beach in Greece before crossing the border to Albania. Sarande, Himare and Berat were the destinations in Albania before we (including the van and our driver Frank) boarded the ferry for Italy. Seven nights in a villa in Puglia (small village of Fasono) with Frank driving us to a different destination every day - the longest trip was an hour from our villa. This was outstanding, with Frank and the van we all travelled together to every location, were able to travel to shops for groceries. At some of the places we visited it is not possible to drive into the town centre and Frank drove us as close as possible and dropped us off for our adventures and met us back at the drop-off point later. We could think of no better way to explore the Puglia region and this was after a similar experience in Albania. We all felt like true VIPs thanks to Frank. What made this even more memorable was H.P. Tours organised everything - from the hotel in Athens and a visit to the Temple of Poseidon, accommodation in Greece, Albania and Italy, ferry from Albania to Puglia and of course all the wonderful sightseeing, places to visit and restaurants - Butrint National Park, The Blue Eye, Gjirokaster, Wineries, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Gallipoli, Matera, Ostuni and more. And Frank dropped us at Bari Airport for our return trip to Australia. Greece is great, but with H.P. Tours there is much to see beyond Greece, and they do it all for you. Thank you Frank and the staff at H.P. Tours for making this possible!

Look no further! If you are looking for a comprehensive, immersive, historical experience, then you found your tour operator! Their attention to detail, knowledgeable tour guides, and experienced drivers will take care of all the details to make your tour enjoyable and stress free. We ended up booking 3, full-day tours and each tour was expertly navigated and coordinated with the weather to make sure we got the most out of the experience. Another couple of awesome excursions with HP Tours - Athens at Night and Half day tour of Ancient Corinth and area. We had two great excursions (Athens by Night and Ancient Corinth Half Day Tour) with Tasos. He was very patient with us!!! We all enjoyed it - and once again, HP Tours exceeded our expectations. Exceptional, memorable, customized and highly flexible two week land tour We would like to give our highest recommendation for HPT. 5+ out of 5 stars for our October 2025, 16-day land tour. In these days of increasing use of software assistance and form respondents, there is nothing more refreshing and rewarding than the experience of high-touch, personal, tailored, caring tour support service. We received this approach uniformly from all HPT employees and contractors. Frank’s longevity in the industry allowed HPT to provide us very charming and unique hotel accommodations. HP hired only the best tour guides for our 10 + archaeological sites and tours. Many of the guides were archaeologists with advanced degrees, excavation and preservation experience and incredibly knowable and responsive on our tours. We traveled in utmost comfort, with pivot-on-a-dime flexibility to our general itinerary. The planning staff were gracious, all of the professional site guides provided top notch educational experiences and lodging staff were uniformly welcoming, accommodating and supportive. We believe that we would have been able to see only about 1/3 of the sights, if we had attempted to arrange and drive this itinerary on our own. Navigating through multiple hillside town streets to get from point A to B, day in and day out, would have been an extremely frustrating nightmare, not a vacation. What helped make our trip not just good, but incredible was our driver, Jimmy. Jimmy was more like a highly skilled, experienced, thoughtful travel companion, more like an enthusiastic nephew (as we are older), sharing his love of country, culture and cuisine, rather than just an impersonal chauffeur. He was a native English-speaker and fluent in Greek due to his upbringing and long term residence in Greece. Words cannot adequately convey the value that he added to our trip through his deep concern for our ongoing comfort and enjoyment, and his utmost dedication to providing us with the highest quality of travel in every way. We collaborated completely and effectively with HPT staff in designing and modifying the trip of a lifetime and we were able to adjust as we needed to on-the-fly.
