Abbiamo organizzato un tour privato delle Piramidi di mezza giornata con guida in italiano, transfer, passeggiata in cammello e ingresso nella piramide di Cheope. Ci siamo trovati benissimo con Hossam: esperto, disponibile, paziente e simpatico. Ci ha spiegato tutto nei minimi particolari. Tour stupendo, esperienza fantastica. Ci ha anche aspettato un’oretta mentre pranzavamo nel famoso Khufu Restaurant. Alla fine del tour, su nostra richiesta, ci ha portati anche in alcuni negozi di cose tipiche locali come papiri, datteri e fragranze.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful private trip to Cairo – highly recommended! We booked a private day trip to Cairo as a family and were extremely happy with the whole experience. From the very beginning, the organization and communication were easy, friendly and reliable. The drivers were very kind, helpful and dependable, and despite the long journey, we always felt comfortable and well taken care of. A very special thank you goes to our guide Khalid in Cairo. He was incredibly friendly, helpful and genuinely kind. His German was excellent, which made the whole tour very easy and enjoyable for us. Khalid also has an impressive knowledge of Egyptian history and the history of his country. He explained so much to us throughout the day in a very interesting and understandable way and was able to answer all of our questions. He accompanied us throughout the entire day, showed us so much and always took our wishes and needs into consideration. We felt very comfortable with him and really enjoyed spending the day with him. The whole trip was very well organized and was a wonderful experience for our family. Especially on a private tour, it is important to us to feel safe and well looked after – and that is exactly how we felt. We would definitely book another trip with them and can highly recommend them. Thank you to the whole team, and especially to Khalid and our drivers, for making our day in Cairo such a wonderful experience! ❤️🇪🇬

Excellent guide
Mahmoud was a phenomenal guide, incredible amount of history and detail and gave a very fair and accurate description of the sites visited. I have had other Egyptian guides who fall into too much conjecture or add fantastical details in an attempt to make things more interesting but in looking the information up later find that the information was false or over embellished. Private tour is ideal as they can cater to your needs better at a pace that works best. Transportation was fine, clean van with plenty of space and lots of drinks available, but the driver did talk on the phone for a while while everyone was trying to sleep. Obviously getting picked up at 3am is painful but this allows us divers to avoid flying right after diving and not waste a day otherwise.

Mahmoud Fawzy is not only an outstanding tour guide but also one of the most knowledgeable, intelligent, and genuinely kind people I have met during my travels. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized. He was punctual, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He answered every question I had—not only about Ancient Egypt, the pyramids, and Egyptian history, but also about modern Egyptian culture, society, philosophy, and even broader topics related to other civilizations. Our conversations went far beyond a typical guided tour and made the experience deeply enriching on both an intellectual and personal level. What impressed me most was how much he genuinely cared about my experience. Throughout the day, he constantly made sure I was comfortable, happy, and enjoying every moment. The driver was equally professional, kind, and supportive. I always felt safe, respected, and well looked after. They never once tried to take advantage of me; their only goal was to make sure I had the best possible experience. They took me to a beautiful place for lunch, recommended great local options, and even bought water for me because locals can purchase it at a better price. These small gestures showed thoughtfulness and genuine hospitality. What happened after the tour is what truly convinced me that these are exceptional people. I accidentally left my phone behind and later found myself struggling to recover it. When the driver was contacted, he immediately stepped in to help. At around 3 a.m., he woke up, searched the vehicle, found my phone, and personally brought it to me. He went far beyond anything anyone could reasonably expect. When Mahmoud learned what had happened, he contacted me to ask how I was feeling and whether everything was okay. He was sincerely concerned about my well-being, not because he had to be, but because he genuinely cared. When I asked how I could thank them for everything they had done, the response was simple: “Nothing is needed. We just wanted to make sure you were okay.” That answer touched me deeply. This tour offers much more than historical knowledge and beautiful sights. It offers kindness, humanity, integrity, and people who truly care about their guests. If you are looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, professional, open-minded, and genuinely dedicated to making your experience unforgettable, I cannot recommend Mohammed highly enough. Life changing experience. Highly recommended
Mahmoud Fawzy and our driver Ahmed were amazing. The tour was unforgettable and probably the best tour we have ever done. Mahmoud as a tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave us the most memorable lessons in Egyptian history. Saqqara was unexpectedly amazing and extremely impressive, maybe more so than the pyramids. Highly recommend this tour operator. One of our best travel days of our lives.

Great day trip to the historical sites in Cairo
Great day out - our guide Mahmoud spoke fantastic English and was educated and interesting throughout the whole day - we went to Sakharra in the morning and then the great pyramid in the afternoon with a nice lunch. Good Car and excellent safe Driver - best value booking direct with the company- paid on the day - excellent communication - overall would highly recommend and do ask for our Guide Mahmoud.

Great communication from Aly tours!!! We booked 4 separate private tours with Aly Egypt. First one was to Saqqara, red and bent pyramids, old Memphis and the step pyramid of Djoser. Our guide Mohammed was great! A serious scholar and excellent at his craft. Two other tours were in Luxor (Karnak and Luxor temples, then Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple, Colossi of Memnon and Habu temple) with tour guide Moody. He was hilarious and certainly a seasoned actor. Unfortunately there was too many jokes and not enough substance for our interests. Our third excursion took us from Luxor to Dendara to see the amazing temple of Hathor and Abydos to see Seti I’d temple. Our guide Hami was AMAZING! He helped us understand the pieces that were missing from our Luxor guide and taught us so much more! I can’t say enough good things about him, except I wish we had had him in Luxor! Lovely human!! So, when booking, be sure to state your interests: informative or entertaining and you fully enjoy the experience. The drivers were all great annd trustworthy. Also, the lunches are with giant touring groups with mediocre meals. We wish we could have had more authentic choices. Maybe ask? Choose Aly Tours!!

This was a fantastic experience, our drivers were prompt, courteous and vehicle very comfortable. They had well organised stops to break up the journey and in car refreshments. He put together an offer for us immediately, tailored perfectly to our needs. It was our first time in Egypt, and for us it truly felt like an all-inclusive, worry-free package. We were picked up at the airport, taken to our hotel, and every single day we were collected for our tours and brought back again. Lunch was always included, and as a lovely extra, our tour guide Mahmoud made sure we had cold water every day — a small detail that made a big difference. We received an incredible amount of information throughout the trip, and every single question we had was answered with patience and passion. I felt very well accompanied and extremely well taken care of during the entire vacation. For me personally, the whole experience was very relaxed and completely stress-free. I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour provider to everyone. Especially if it’s your first time in Egypt, having a guide is incredibly valuable — not only for logistics, but also to truly understand the culture, traditions, and local customs. That said, I also think it’s a great idea to inform yourself a bit in advance — just like we did — through YouTube or other channels about Egyptian culture and etiquette. And if you’re interested in history, it definitely makes sense to do a little background reading beforehand as well. A single TripAdvisor review is honestly not enough to fully describe the experience we had. After our initial stay, we continued traveling to Luxor, and once again everything was perfectly organized for us. A guide was arranged there as well, and we received exactly the same high-quality service — professional, reliable, caring, and incredibly well coordinated. The consistency in service and attention made our entire journey feel seamless and truly exceptional. All in all, an unforgettable experience and an outstanding guide. Highly recommended!
