The faculty members are always supportive and genuinely care about the students’ progress. One of the best things about my college is the internship opportunities. I was able to secure the hotel I really wanted, which boosted my confidence and gave me a great start toward my career. I,m AMRITA BARAI, student of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT in bachelor in Hotel Management. The lndian Institute of Hotel Management has been an incredible place for me to learn grow and gain real professional skills. The college is well structured with four major departments -front office, housekeeping,food and beverage and food production -each offering hands on training that prepares students for the hospitality industry.Among allthis practice session,my favourites are food production and communication. Food production has given me the chance to explore my creativity in kitchen.From learning basic cuts and cooking methods to experimenting with different cuisine, every class feels exciting.Working in a real kitchen setup has also helped me develop discipline, team work,and time management. Communication practicals are equally enriching.They help build confidence, polished speaking skills and prepare us for guest interaction in professional situations. Overall my experience in Indian Institute of Hotel Management has been inspiring.The practicals, faculty guidance and industrial oriented environment make it a great place for any one who wants to build a career in hospitality industry.

The teachers, the staffs, the environment is overall so enthusiastic and affirmative that I'm really grateful to be a part of this institution. I joined this institute 2 years ago and after few months I'll be going for my training everything feel like I have reached the heaven I was looking for. First and foremost thing is the friendly and nurturing atmosphere a fresher always looks for. Specially Director sir ( Gomes sir) as I said above recently I gave my interview for training in Kerala I have asked sir that i want to do my training from Kerala and sir made it happen I got what I wanted and got selected all because of gomes sir. The faculties here are experienced and focuses on both theory and practical training, especially in food production, F&B service, front office, and housekeeping. The institute has decent lab facilities and kitchens for hands-on practice, which is very important in hotel management. Placement support is available, with students getting opportunities in hotels like Jw Marriott, ITC, Novotel,Hayatt and other reputed chains.The campus is large, the location in Kolkata makes it easy to access internships and industrial training in 5-star .indian Institute of hotel management,Kolkata is a good choice if you are passionate about hospitality and ready to put in the hard work, as success in this field depends a lot on personal grooming, communication skills, and practical exposure and this institution will shape you like a future hotelier.
