What a fabulous location for a wedding!
We were part of a large number of guests staying in the various cottages.
The staff were wonderful. The food was great. The setting amazing.
This is a gem of a place! Visited in August for a friend’s wedding. Gorgeous surroundings and beautiful accommodation. The food is also delicious. The staff are really friendly, it’s excellent, would love to return!

Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner au Manoir de Longeveau dans le cadre de notre événement professionnel, et tout était parfait.
Le personnel est très accueillant, chaleureux et fantastique. Il y a un large choix d’activités sur place, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement du séjour.
La nourriture est exceptionnelle, et surtout, l’organisation était aux petits oignons grâce à Julie, qui nous a accompagnés tout au long de notre séjour avec beaucoup de professionnalisme et de gentillesse.

I simply cannot recommend Longeveau enough. We had our wedding weekend here and everything was out of this world. The facilities are fantastic and provided everything we needed for our 130 guests. It was daunting to think of coordinating the accommodation for this many people but Nina was an absolute dream in managing this for us, including some extra days for the wedding party beforehand. Julie and the whole team could not have been more lovely, kind, and accommodating every step of the way in the process, from our first viewing through to the day we left. Nothing was too much trouble and all our guests left as happy as we were.
We cant wait to come back and visit again soon!

Beautiful venue (we attended a weekend-long wedding here) in some idyllic French countryside. Very calm surroundings and really kept the whole wedding party together having the whole place to ourselves. Staff were so friendly and very capable dealing with the big crowd. Good amenities, and quick to prepare when some rain came in. Overall a lovely location and a very enjoyable place to stay. Lots of accommodation on site, and just up the road, we stayed in one of the standalone houses and found it very modern and comfortable.

We used Longeveau as the hub for the weekend of our wedding, and it was quite simply the perfect choice.
With over 80 guests staying on site, the setup worked beautifully. The wide range of well-priced gîtes, all within close proximity to one another, meant everyone felt together while still having their own space. It created the feeling of a small village taken over by friends and family, which made the entire weekend feel relaxed, social and very special. For large groups, celebrations and weddings (especially 100+ people), it’s hard to imagine a better location.
From a planning perspective, Julie and the team were fantastic. Communication was clear, calm and reassuring throughout, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. During the weekend itself, all of the on-site staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful — many happily switching to English, which our guests really appreciated.
The location itself is stunning. Set in the rolling hills of the Dordogne, “tranquil” really is the best word to describe it. You do need a car to get around, and a basic level of fitness helps due to the rural setting, but that’s very much part of the charm. There is a nearby Spar within a scenic walk, and once on site you feel pleasantly removed from the rush of everyday life.
The facilities were excellent. The two swimming pools were very popular with our guests, and while we didn’t quite have enough time to make full use of the tennis courts and 9-hole golf course, we’re already talking about coming back to do just that. The accommodation was spotless, well-equipped for self-catering, and each cottage had its own character, along with outdoor space — whether a small garden or a balcony, often with a barbecue. We had nothing but positive feedback from our guests, including families who made use of cots and additional amenities.
One of our favourite small touches was being able to order fresh bakery produce at the bar the day before and collect it in the morning — enjoying a coffee and pastries in such a beautiful setting was a real highlight. The bar and outdoor terrace were gorgeous, especially at sunset, with a great selection of drinks at fair prices and impeccable bar staff. The availability of simple, ready-to-go food was also very welcome.
Some of our most memorable moments were incredibly simple: welcoming guests as they arrived on the Friday, seeing them experience Longeveau for the first time; a relaxed Sunday evening BBQ with lawn games; and, most of all, having all of our closest friends and family together in one beautiful place for an entire weekend. Un vrai coup de cœur.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Longeveau for large gatherings, celebrations and weddings, and we sincerely hope to return many times in the future — this certainly won’t be our last visit.
My wife and I got married here in June 2025 and we couldn't recommend it enough. The grounds, accomodation and facilities are everything you'll ever need - we had all of our guests onsite and every single person said how amazing the venue was! Julie and her team were brilliant throughout the whole weekend and they ensured everyone had a good time and everyone's needs were catered for. We also had a pizza night and BBQ which they arranged for us over the wedding weekend which were both amazing! Perfect place to get married and we will definitely be back!
