I have had such a positive experience with Learnmore from start to finish. The support I received throughout my apprenticeship was fantastic, and I always felt encouraged and supported along the way. I recently completed the Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship and achieved a Distinction. The programme challenged me in ways I did not expect and has genuinely improved my understanding of leadership and management. Before starting the apprenticeship, I was largely focused on delivering results, meeting deadlines, and achieving operational objectives. Through the workshops, reflective learning, project work, and coaching support, I developed a much deeper understanding of leadership theories, stakeholder management, communication, emotional intelligence, and the importance of creating a positive team culture. One of the biggest benefits for me was learning to step back and reflect on my own leadership style. The programme helped me become more self-aware, improve my communication, and better understand how to motivate, support, and develop people. This has had a positive impact on both my professional and personal development. I would particularly like to thank my coach, Nikki Gallagher, for her support throughout the journey. Rather than simply providing answers, she challenged me to think critically, improve my work, and demonstrate a deeper understanding of leadership and management principles. Completing the apprenticeship alongside a demanding operational role was challenging at times, but looking back it was absolutely worthwhile. I would recommend the programme to anyone looking to develop not only their management knowledge but also their confidence, self-awareness, and leadership capability.
