I found Dr. Shin to be extremely compassionate and thorough. I saw him for three separate visits related to my hip and each time he was informative about what was going on and sensitive to the pain I was experiencing. His staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The front desk team are especially helpful! I highly recommend this practice!

I visited Dr Shin’s Burlingame practice after twisting my knee. I had acute pain for a number of weeks. Dr Shin took the time to discuss the xrays and explain all the options available to treat my injury. I never felt rushed and knew I was in good hands. I opted for PRP treatment, which I received during a second appointment. All the office staff were very friendly and made both visits a very easy and comfortable experience. I am so happy that I found Dr Shin’s practice and I will recommend him to anyone who needs an orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Shin is wonderful. He is smart informative kind and caring. I have known him for a long time.
I have two bad knees. I have opted at this time for no surgery for personal reasons.
I got some cortisone injections. My knees are bone on bone.
He explained possible outcomes and let me know I have other options for my knee pain.
He doesn't kick you to the curb if the care is a challenge. He let's you know he cares about your pain.
His staff is equally as wonderful. It is a joy going to his office.
