We had a great experience with Menifee Academy of Music. I have two sons that took lessons here. My oldest, Hendrix is on the spectrum so new experiences are sometimes challenging. Jack and the staff were patient and extremely understanding of his needs. We took it slow and he enjoyed his time learning drums there. My youngest Helix is 5 and he took piano lessons with Ms. Lilene. She was absolutely amazing with him! You can tell everyone here genuinely has a passion for music and an even more special gift of teaching it. Ms. Lilene was patient, enthusiastic and had great rapport with my son. 10/10 recommend Menifee academy of music.
We wanted to sign are daughter up for 4 year old classes but they want rights to take photos of children for promotions and would not work with us to just not take her photo if we did sign up. I thought this was very weird and the unwillingness to work with us made me feel like it’s not the best fit for our child.
Other programs understand this concern for parents since once something is posted online especially an underage child, it stays online forever and especially with the age of AI and hackers. Really weird, and we are bummed because we wanted this to work..

Hello Talia! We have photo waivers available via email and at the office - there is also a checkbox on our forms that allow parents to opt out of photos - this is very common and we maintain a large “no photo” list, so a bit unsure how this situation happened and where the miscommunication was. Our office manager will reach out directly.
Update: Talia - we spoke with the team and it seems you were interested in our theatre program. Our theater showcases attract over 700 attendees over the course of a show weekend, and they are fully recorded and, at times, professionally photographed since we need to share recordings out to families and students. Parents and family members also take hundreds of photos and videos during these performances showing their kids and the groups. The theater program, separately from the Academy, also has a very active social media presence. As a result, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that your student wouldn’t be part of a video when performing on stage, unless you choose to not perform completely and only participate in the classes. It does seem we did offer private lessons for your child, but it sounds like those aren’t the best fit for where you are at this stage. We truly wish you the best of luck, and sorry we couldn’t accommodate your needs at this time!
Jack who is the manager of this location is wonderful and is very helpful! My sons take piano and guitar lessons and so far they are learning from very knowledgeable people. Miss Lilene and Mr Bryan have been very patient with my kids. I recommend this place to anybody who is looking to learn any instruments for adult and kids!

My daughter is in the Theater class and she absolutely loves it! Mrs Ragina and Mrs Cam are the best! The front office is amazing! Answers all our questions and are friendly and caring! Can't wait for the next performance!
This place is awesome! We have both of our sons enrolled in weekly lessons (guitar and piano) and their progress and knowledge of not just playing, but also being able to read music sheets far exceeds our expectations. The teachers are very knowledgeable and are also very patient, making sure our sons understand the concept and the proper technic so they both can play their instruments properly. Also, it's a huge plus that the weekly homework that is given to them by their teacher (they both have the same musical teacher. Shout out to Evan!) that they both looked forward to doing them and they take their time and not just rush through it. The staff is top shelf and really respectful (Another shout out to Jack!) and welcoming each time we arrive. Our sons have been going there close to 3 years and glad we found this place.
Been at the theater for around 4 years now. Going through my teen years here has truly been a pleasure. I've not only made friends but also learned a number of good performance and improv skills. Thank you, Drama Mama!
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I started here when I was younger and did singing lessons and now I’m in musical theater and it’s absolutely amazing! Everyone is so welcoming and the teachers are so sweet and help you grow in whatever you’ve come to the academy for.
Sara has done an amazing job setting up performances and recitals with the students and instructors. Always going out of her way to come up with new events to entice current and new clients to stay involved with the music academy.
"If you are looking for music lessons in the Menifee, Murrieta, or Temecula area, the Academy of Music is the place to go! In a very short amount of time, Miss Jada worked wonders with my boys--they recently performed at an event and sang beautifully.
Beyond the talent of the teachers, the environment is top-notch. Mr. Jack is amazing; he greets us personally every time we walk through the door and keeps everything super organized with great communication. From the admin team to the instructors, they made it possible for our family to thrive in music. Highly recommended!"
We just watched an awesome performance of Chicago the musical! We don't even have kids there. But it was really fun and they did a great job. Cheap tickets and concessions, nice staff. Clearly the teachers are very good. Fun to support the arts.
My 8‑year‑old son has been taking piano lessons here for seven months, and it’s been a wonderful experience for our whole family. The teachers and staff are attentive, encouraging, and make each lesson both fun and educational. We’ve seen his confidence and love for music grow week after week. I highly recommend Menifee Academy of Music and Performing Arts!
