We had to replace our AC unit. From the initial visit to the quote to the finished job, Sun Valley did an amazing job. We got several quotes, and they had the best pricing and warranty. They were honest and didn't try to upsell us. The install crew was efficient, cleaned up after themselves, and made sure everything was working before they left.
Give Frank a call. He won't steer you wrong. I highly recommend Sun Valley

I am so impressed with the service I got. I will only use Sun Valley going forward. I called at 11pm last night as my AC went out, and someone actually answered the phone! They were out here at 6am this morning and fixed it. Frank was awesome, explained everything in a way I could understand.
It was a great experience with Sun Valley Conditioning & Heating. After a nightmare experience with a previous co. It was a pleasure to have a technician, so knowledgeable Frank was so great explaining every procedure. I highly recommend this co. and intend to continue to use on regular basis for maintenance.

I'm going to keep posting this until it sticks.
My A/C was running fine but I wanted to get it tuned up for the summer, so I called Sun Valley. Tech came out and told me the refrigerant was low. Bummer, but OK. The Sun Valley tech put six pounds of refrigerant in my A/C unit on July 2nd. The morning of July 3rd, my A/C unit wouldn't turn on. Called a different HVAC company to come out and check and was told my unit is overcharged and the compressor was seized. He took out the six pounds of refrigerant Sun Valley charged me for and now it runs fine again.
Bottom line: I paid Sun Valley $1420.59 for a tune up and they turned my running A/C unit into a nonrunning A/C unit. So, one star.
Call a different company if you want quality, competent service.
Frank’s honesty and transparency is only topped by the actual HVAC work he does. I have used him multiple times at two different houses — I can’t recommend him enough!
I am extremely pleased with the response and service from Sun Valley AC & Heating. Our AC went out at a very inconvenient time and Sun Valley was able fix it in just a few hours. Frank was especially kind and knowledgeable in making the repair.
I have called Sun Valley AC for emergent and non emergent issues. They are professional and timely in all aspects of their business. We highly recommend Sun Valley for all your needs, you will not be disappointed!

If you are reading this, you are likely looking for A/C work, as I was when I called and had the pleasure of talking to Frank. my A/C had failed the week before, but we were able to get it running and I had that fear that we likely all get at some point in AZ. "What if it fails and can't be repaired?!"
I talked to 8 different HVAC companies, had 4 of them come to my house. I didn't just want my unit replaced, I wanted my house to be comfortable, I have owned this house since 2007, and that has never been how it felt. 2 of those companies had thoughts, but were either WILDLY over price (like double) or had thoughts that I am not sure would solve my issues.
Frank came out, talked to me about my struggles, and came up with a plan, he then explained his plan and why and how he felt it would make the difference I was looking for.
from there I pestered this poor man with questions, and thoughts, and "what if" and "maybe we should upgrade this?!"
he was patient, listened, explained, and as they just left my house I can tell you this.
even thought the house is still cooling down from having everything open... all day on the hottest day of week, and possibly month, the air is coming out cool, it feels like the whole house is getting the cooling it needs, and Quiet... OH MY GOODNESS! this house has NEVER been so quiet, especially running on full blast...

if your looking for A/C work, at least call them, it will be worth the conversation!
I am totally sold on Sun Valley, where everyone else wanted to push me to the back burner Sun Valley understood my position and told me they would be there as soon as they possibly could, they showed up as promised, cudos to Frank Rye he took care of everything that was needed.
