Story Electrical Reviews

This company were recommended by Ohme to install their EV chargers. Made contact with them and from first conversation, quotation, etc I found them impressive - focused, honest, efficient, responsive. They managed to meet the tight delivery schedule I was seeking, turned up on time (ish!), did an excellent job, cleared up, carried out a comprehensive hand-over and departed. They were faultless - it was a genuine pleasure dealing with them - something that is extremely rare these days! Very highly recommended.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a kind and detailed review. It really does mean a lot to the whole team.

We know how important it is to get a charger in on time, so we're delighted we could work to your schedule and make the whole process straightforward from that first conversation through to the handover.

As an approved Ohme installer, we're always proud when a recommendation turns into a happy customer, and comments like yours are exactly why we do what we do. We'll make sure the lads who carried out your install see this.

If you ever need anything in the future, whether that's servicing for your charger or any other electrical work, you know where we are.

Thanks again, and happy charging!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a kind review. Tricky installations are where our team really comes into its own, so it's great to hear the job was handled efficiently and left looking neat. Being polite and respectful in our customers' homes matters just as much to us as the quality of the work itself, so that comment means a lot.

We're delighted you're happy with your new EV charging point and really appreciate the recommendation. If you ever need anything else, from a charger service to any other electrical work, you know where we are.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. Losing a charger is never convenient, so we always try to get to people quickly and turn up when we say we will. Luke will be delighted to hear his work got a mention, and I'll be passing this straight on to him.

Enjoy the new charger, and give us a shout if you ever need anything.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a kind review! Luke will be chuffed to hear this. Turning up on time, doing the job properly, and leaving the place tidier than we found it is exactly how we like to do things at Story Electrical. And we never consider a job finished until you're up and running with the app and confident using it, so we're delighted that came through. Enjoy the charging! ⚡

We used Story Electrical to supply and install two Rolec Zura dual EV chargers at our workplace in Linton, Cambridgeshire. Mark's pricing was very reasonable, the pre-purchase information was excellent and helped us make a fully informed decision, and the installation team were polite, friendly and helpful throughout. A great experience from start to finish — highly recommended.

We had our Rolec EV charger installed today by Story Electrical and couldn't be happier with the service. The engineer arrived on time, was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The installation was completed to a really high standard, leaving everything neat and tidy afterwards. They also made sure we understood how to use the charger before they left. From start to finish, the whole process was straightforward and hassle-free. We'd definitely recommend Story Electrical to anyone looking for a reliable, professional EV charger installation. Thank you for a great job!

Found the company on local safe traders, after having been messed around by another sparky, I gave them a really short deadline to remove my EV charger as I had a house move completion date to get it done by. Not a problem, they were great, communication was 1st class and the customer service was top level. They also re installed it at the new address (after kindly helping me and keeping the EV charger stored safely at their office as I was moving). My wife said the guy that did the work was lovely, a really nice guy who was great with the kids and the dogs. Really neat tidy work and made sure it looked good everywhere. Can’t recommend them enough. Very happy.

Mark and his team at Story Electrical did a first class job on the electrics for our office. Travelling from Peterborough to Leicester they were bang on the agreed time both visits. Job was done to a high standard and to agreed timescales. Mark has a great team working for him who actually turn up and deliver what they promise, particular thanks go to Chris and Luke who did my work, I love the fact that Chris is somewhat of a perfectionist as it meant he used the laser guide to line up all of my spots and plug sockets exactly, top man! All cleaned up after themselves and the final bill was exactly as agreed, no hidden extras. Highly recommended, reliable and honest company. Thank you Story Electrical ⚡💡🔌

I had a lighting circuit that had tripped and tried for a week to find the problem but just couldn’t, asked for recommendations on a local Facebook page and Mark the boss replied saying he could get one of his lads round the following day at a time to suit my online meetings. Connor came round bang on time and got straight on it. He was professional, courteous and polite and it took him 2 hours to find the fault, check and double check he got it right and left the faulty item safe and then made it very easy for me to replace at the weekend. All in all excellent service and not a bad price!!

Five Star from Story Electrical! Just had an EV charger installed this afternoon by Connor & Luke, faultless service from these chaps. I'd highly recommend using Storys in the future, work was carried out professionally, efficiently and to a great standard. EV charger supplied and installed was the Hypervolt 3.0 charger (pictures attached). Any mess whilst carrying out these works were cleaned up straight away. Thanks again guys!

Had an EV point fitted and can't fault the care and attention given throughout. Mark talked me through the options, giving me all the advice I needed. The work was done by one of his team Michael, who did a fantastic job despite arriving with a flat van tyre! Very professional and clean and tidy. Mark had to finish the job another day( no fault of his own) and got gave me all the info needed to get my EV point up and running. Great team..can't recommend enough. Would definitely recommend for any electrical works.
