We have had a wonderful experience with the program at Shichida Burwood. The teachers are caring, patient, and engaging, creating a positive and supportive learning environment for children. The lessons are well-structured, interactive, and designed to encourage learning through fun activities.

We have a wonderful experience with Shichida. My child has always been happy to attend all the classes, from the toddler stage at 1 year old up to the current Primary program. The classes are engaging, with a wide variety of activities and a fast-paced structure that keeps children interested and motivated. Over the years, my child has developed many valuable skills through the program. I would especially like to highlight our current teacher, Ban Mieu, who is truly outstanding. She is incredibly passionate and dedicated, and it is clear that she teaches from a genuine desire to bring out the best in every child. Her commitment and care make a real difference, and we are very grateful to have her as our teacher. I recommend Shichida to any parents looking for a structured, enriching and engaging early learning program, especially if you start your child young.
We’ve had a very positive experience with Shinchida and Mr Thai. My son genuinely enjoys attending each week and is always engaged during the lessons. Mr Thai is patient, encouraging, and creates a positive learning environment that keeps the children motivated and confident.

I cant describe how Shichida Burwood helped to our daughter, thinking out the box, being confident with her decisions, memorising without learning or teaching her directly. She remembers our phone number without even telling her, just remember from some conversations she listened to.Recognise the places we went only once and knows the streets. I cannot recommend enough this type of learning for everyone who wants the best for their kids, this is the way :) very friendly collective, teachers and staff members always friendly and helpful, kids are very friendly and kind, nothing to worry about here

We really enjoyed the classes. Despite the 1 hour driving getting here, my kids are enjoying the classes very much. Fun and educational. Would love to see more classes and more options on time. Quin has definitely tried to work her best to accommodate our needs for 2 kids and a time that suits us. We really appreciate it :)
Originally was quite happy with their classes but one day a teacher clearly sick decided rock up to a class coughing and spreading it to our son and my father knowing very well it’s a small closed off room. This then spread to our newborn and the rest of the family at home. Furious obviously we ask them for assistance but got very poor solutions and a lack of understanding. Don’t bring your kids if you want a safe and healthy learning environment.

The health and wellbeing of our families is something we take very seriously. As part of our usual protocol, we encourage staff to avoid coming to work when unwell, and we kindly ask the same of parents and children attending classes. This helps us maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming Shichida learning environment for everyone each week.
At the same time, common illnesses can arise from many different settings, including childcare, schools, family members, and broader community exposure. As such, it is unfortunately not possible to confirm the source of an illness in these circumstances.
In response to your concerns, we carefully considered your request for a fee reduction for the remainder of the year. While we were unable to accommodate this, we offered several goodwill gestures, including complimentary replacement classes and additional flexibility. When we were unable to reach a mutually agreeable outcome, we then offered a full refund of the upcoming term fees and waived the usual administrative fee. We genuinely hope these steps reflected our care and understanding of your family’s situation.
We always aim to support families in a fair and consistent manner, and we sincerely wish you and your family all the best moving forward.

Initially left 1 star due to some frustrations with the overall experience — aggressive sales tactics and post-signup issues that left a lot to be desired, particularly around a missed class.
Although it took a Google review for them to reach out, I do appreciate that the Centre Manager personally called, took the time to fully explain the situation, acknowledged they could have been warmer in their communication, and shared the work they were doing behind the scenes to find a resolution.
The team are actually warm and friendly in person (apparently they have different teams for pre and post signups), the classes are good and they do try to be as accommodating as possible, but you do need to advocate for yourself. It’s good to know they do come through when it counts though.
