Excellent company to rent a car from in Crete. Car was in good condition. Soula provided excellent customer service on WhatsApp and the representatives (Alex and Maria) were really professional. I would recommend them for 5* service.

I was very impressed with Rental Center! A few car rental places I researched in Heraklion had a minimum number of days you had to rent the car for. I only needed 2 days and they were perfect. The service was wonderful and extremely friendly. Parking is always an issue but they managed to drop off the car for me at my hotel AND check out the car efficiently. I wasn’t going to make my original drop off time for the car, but they were very flexible and even answered the phone close to 10 PM. I did not incur any additional charges either. I highly recommend them! Thank you!

Absolutely the Worst Car Rental Experience I’ve Ever Had
I didn’t even choose this company myself — I booked through RCC Crete, and they sent me to Just Rentals at Chania Airport for pickup. From start to finish, this was easily the worst rental experience I’ve had.
I paid extra for zero risk / no deposit insurance specifically to avoid exactly the kind of situation they created at drop-off. When I returned the VW Up, the lady at the desk came outside without any damage report, checklist, or vehicle diagram. She pointed to a scratch and immediately claimed it wasn’t there before — as if she memorizes every mark on every car.
She tried to blame me and have me pay for it, even though I had paid for zero-risk coverage. Apparently, according to them, you are still required to report and photograph any damage during the rental — meaning you basically have to record a full 360° inspection every single time you park, just in case someone else scrapes the car. I’ve rented from hundreds of companies over the years and never encountered something this unreasonable.
I did not accept their accusation. The car was handed over to me at night, and no damage report or proper inspection was presented at pickup. Instead of conducting a professional check-in process, they were more focused on offering me a “professional driver” service and giving me a basic car lesson explaining indicators, hazard lights, and the handbrake — despite me telling them I’ve held a driving license for 15 years. When I questioned it, I was told it’s “company policy.” It felt unnecessary and frankly patronizing.
To make things worse, their pickup location is the furthest one from the main rental area outside the terminal, which adds inconvenience on top of everything else.
Overall, this experience felt unprofessional, disorganized, and unnecessarily confrontational. I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious or avoid altogether. If booking through RCC Crete, make sure you are not redirected to this company.

Very good renter
Very welcome, easy to access, the car was clean , almost new. When I called during the stay I had a very quick answer. The return was as easy. Not having a deposit check to pay, franchise is a real plus. And in addition we did not have to clean the car before the return. All positives. If I come back I will rent without hesitation through this central.
rent gr crete were great to deal with -minimal paperwork and efficient systems that was stress free when picking up the car from heraklion and dropping off @chania airport. Andreas @ chania rent gr was super friendly and even dropped us off at the airport. Service like this made the trip very memorable . loved Crete ! thanks Andreas Yassou

Car rental was delivered on time at the hotel. The lady told me to take pictures and video of the car. Handover was done very quickly, short explanation in the car. Car was nice and clean. Overall, a good impression of the company! Sorry, no breakdown triangle and no bandage found.
I have done a fair amount travel around Europe and the US with rental cars. Hands down this was the fastest, easiest, and most pain free rental car experience. We rented from Heraklion and returned in Chania. The fact that insurance was included and the car was dropped off to our lodging was a great perk.

Update: wir haben mittlerweile 3 Mal einen Mietwagen bei Justrentals gebucht und sind, wie bei der ersten Buchung, top zufrieden!!!
Wir haben das erste Mal bei Justrentals gebucht und es war definitiv nicht das letzte Mal. Von der Buchung bis hin zur Rückgabe verlief alles perfekt und sehr professionell. Der uns zur Verfügung gestellte Mietwagen befand sich in einen sehr guten Zustand. Kleine Vorschäden wurden bei Übernahme detailliert protokolliert. Das Personal war jederzeit super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Vergleich zu anderen Anbietern top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
