Dr. Paviol and team are wonderful healthcare . Medical staff, including Dr. Paviol, are always friendly and engaging, explain clearly any issues that need to be addressed, and do so quickly -- often during the same day's visit. Dr. Paviol has addressed several important skin issues for me, eliminating the risk and managing a problem, which was misdiagnosed by other doctors.

I tried to schedule an appointment to have my hand evaluated, and the very first question I was asked was what insurance I had. I explained that I am self-pay, and I was then told, “We are not accepting self-pay at this time.”
I’m having a hard time understanding why my insurance status should determine whether I can receive an appointment. I was willing to pay for the service myself and simply wanted to have my hand evaluated.
I understand that medical offices have policies regarding insurance and payment, but denying someone an appointment solely because they are willing to pay out of pocket is extremely frustrating. If I’m prepared to pay for the service, I would expect to at least be given the option to schedule an appointment and pay the required fee.
This experience left me feeling like being a self-pay patient automatically made me less welcome as a customer/patient.

I was looking for a primary care physician and this office was recommended by my health plan. It was a home run. Alex and the team are phenomenal. My son also sees this team and we are so happy we landed at this office. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solid primary care office

Very disappointing experience with PA Kim L. As a first-time patient, I expected professionalism, empathy, and genuine concern for my condition. Unfortunately, she did not introduce herself, ask how I was feeling, or make me feel that my concerns and pain were being taken seriously. I left feeling dismissed and uncomfortable. I also felt that bias may have influenced the interaction, although I cannot speak to her intentions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend her and would not feel comfortable seeing her again.
