⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I honestly can’t recommend James highly enough. I went to him with a back problem that had been causing me a lot of pain and affecting my day-to-day life, and the difference he made was incredible. My back is now completely healed, and I genuinely put a huge part of that down to his knowledge, treatment and guidance. James is extremely professional, knowledgeable and clearly brilliant at what he does, but what really sets him apart is how much he genuinely cares about the people he treats. He takes the time to listen, explains everything properly and makes you feel completely at ease. Not only did I find a fantastic physio, but over the course of my treatment James also became someone I now consider a good friend, which says a lot about the kind of person he is. If you’re struggling with an injury or ongoing pain and looking for someone you can trust, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend James. Absolutely first class from start to finish. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Really pleased with the outcome with shockwave sessions for what was tennis elbow, as never been to a physio before and wasn't sure what to expect. Was all explained at the first session and got exercises to help during and after the course. Did all the paperwork with my insurer seamlessly which really helped. Was really diligent with mask, gloves and cleaning during the pandemic. Pleased he was recommended! 2026 Update - Another good fix, this time a knee injury, with shockwave therapy and detailed exercises to follow. All excellent!!

Couldn't recommend enough! I had been to a few different physios and was not seeing any improvement. But James took the time to diagnose me properly and after a few sessions I had seen great results.

I've been treated by James for various sporting injuries over the last 20 plus years after he was recommended by my doctor who had been treated by James. At least 10 years since referring to James I tore a calf muscle playing football and it transpired there were other complications leading to a swollen foot as well as the lower leg. Initially I used the free 15 minute call and James said if I could see him after his last appointment that evening he would assess me to see if I had also ruptured my achilles tendon - thankfully I hadn't. He added me to the end of his next day appointments to start treatment. James was great at explaining the injuries and the treatment required at each stage until no more treatment was needed. As an aside, a number of years ago I took my mum in her 70's, to James, as she had a shoulder issue which he treated and she regained full movement of her shoulder. Thanks yet again James.

Came in with a rotator cuff injury that was very painful and was preventing me from working properly. I was given a series of six radial shockwave sessions which really helped to reduce the pain and helped improve my movement. The service was both professional and friendly. Went to physio after suffering pain within the hip tendons. 5 star service. James advised for 5 sessions of shockwave therapy. Two months after the first appointment have full movement and strength back in the damaged tendon. Fully recommend.

I came to James with significant hip and back pain — a complex case that required input from specialist consultants and eventually hip surgery. James created a recovery plan which aligned with the consultant guidelines, using manual therapy and shockwave therapy that made a real difference to my post-surgery recovery. I felt that James really listened to my concerns and amended plans when required. My hip is now significantly better and I'm back to sport with confidence. Highly recommend James for any physio needs!

Couldn’t recommend Physioelite enough! I was training for the 2026 London marathon and started developing an issue with my calf. When it didn’t go away, I booked a session and it turned out I had a small tear. James treated it with shockwave and it started to improve quickly. I also developed an issue with my knee, which James also successfully treated in a really short space of time. All in all, it took four weeks to get me back up and running and I was able to complete the marathon - which at one point I thought might not have been a possibility. 10/10 - had a fantastic experience.

I came to James with Costochondritis after several months of trying different approaches with limited success. James listened to me and made a detailed assessment before a short programme of targeted treatment. Not only did I start to feel better very quickly, I got to ride in Italy on a trip that had previously looked very much in the balance! I’m currently symptom free, and if you’re in the same position I would highly recommend giving James a call.

I came to PhysioElite after struggling with back pain following a road traffic collision over three years ago. I had previously seen over six different physiotherapists, but unfortunately saw no improvement. However, working with James has been a completely different experience.
