I’m a pediatric dentist myself, so I don’t say this lightly—Dr. Barrett Tindell and his team are outstanding. I needed a restoration done and was very particular about who I trusted for my own care. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. His office has a comfortable feel, clean and inviting. The staff was warm and welcoming and it was nice to see the positive relationship they have not only with patients but also with each other.
It’s easy to see that Dr. Tindell's has high attention to detail with how he proceeded through the appointment. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in what he does, and it shows in the quality of his work. The entire procedure went incredibly smoothly—I was completely at ease the whole time and honestly could have fallen asleep at points.
Coming from someone in the field, everything was done exactly right. It’s not often I’m this impressed as both a patient and a dentist. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for high-quality dental care.

You can't go wrong when it comes to getting a great smile. I've been going to NP Dental for almost 5 years now, and I absolutely love the front office staff, they are always welcoming you by your name. As for Dr Tyndell, he is exceptional. He has a great personality and is extremely professional. Highly recommend!

I had an appointment today with Dr. Friedman, and an incredible assistant whose name I’m embarrassed to say I’ve forgotten. While going to the dentist is not on my basket list, I can’t imagine nor do I remember a dental office where the patient’s comfort and input are so respected.
Dr. Friedman and her nameless assistant (shame on me) made sure I was listened to, and made every effort to ensure that their nervous patient felt at ease. And I did!
My previous appointments with Stephanie, a magic dental hygienist, have left me stunned. My past experiences have left me in pain, and determined not to be anywhere near a picture of a tooth! Not so with Stephanie! She pulls a rabbit out of a tube of toothpaste, and your teeth start shining and chattering about how much fun they had. Me too!
By this point, I believe you have made the assumption that I have always been a “reluctant (I’m being generous) patient.” Now, in the twilight
of my dental experiences, I have finally discovered there IS a better way—North Pointe Dental Associates!
So the secret is out! If you are tired of being afraid to go “to the dentist,” fear no more! North Pointe is waiting for you! Their entire staff gets kudos!
From the greeting when you arrive to the pleasant check out this is the best dental office in north Tampa. Freshly remodeled and very comfortable. Always a great experience! I’ve learned so much about keeping my teeth clean and healthy from Lisa, my hygienist. Dr. B Tindell is a wonderful dentist. His associates are wonderful as well. Love this place!
