Great transfer experience from Dalaman to Kalkan. We had arranged multiple round trip transfers with Kalkan VIP transfer (for us arriving from the U.K. and family arriving from Germany). All the cars were clean and comfortable. Transfers were smooth and on time and we thought the communication was superb. We would highly recommend them and use them again in the future. Thank you!

Bad experience, poor communication, superficial follow-up. There aren't many things you need from an airport transfer - be on time, be polite, have a clean vehicle, drive safely - that's about it. Well, the vehicle was clean, I'll give them that. 1 out 4 ain't bad. Right? We booked a transfer from Antalya airport to Kas and to be fair to Kalkan VIP, their story was that their vehicle broke down so they contracted a local driver to come get us instead. Probably true, and well done for not leaving us stranded at the airport, but the guy who turned up went to the wrong terminal, and sorting that out took a fair bit of time so by the time we actually got into the vehicle we were running pretty late. The driver was not happy. Not sure what he was so angry about as he didn't speak English, we didn't speak Turkish and he had no patience for using google translate to work anything out - he just used the time honoured technique of repeating himself but louder to try to get his meaning across. Well, he certainly communicated that he was angry, first through tone of voice and body language, then through his driving. It's a windy road to Antalya and he's lucky his vehicle wasn't filled with vomit by the end of it - our youngest was right on the edge of throwing up - if he hadn't fallen asleep, it would have been ugly. During the drive he spoke to us once - one word: "toilet", when we made a brief stop. Then it was back to maniacal driving and brooding silence. Until the end of the trip when he started waving paper around like he wanted us to pay the (long ago paid) bill. At that point we just went into our accommodation and left him to sort it out over the phone with his company. So, of course I emailed KalkanVIP to relate our experience and got a very nice and apologetic email back explaining that it was not one of their regular drivers etc and offering me a 50% discount on the return transfer. When I explained that I'd already booked the return transfer with another company (because, of course, we weren't excited about a repeat performance) but that a 50% refund of the very bad transfer in question would be great, they went quiet. And that was the last I heard from them. So, great on the sentiment, not so much with the actual doing something to make amends. The one thing that is certainly not the work of a one-off contractor is the poor communication. We used lots of transfers on this trip and in every case except this one there was email or more likely WhatsApp communication leading up to the transfer to make sure everything went smoothly. Kalkan did not do this. There was the confirmation email I got after booking it, months in advance, then the next contact was when I WhatsApped them, standing outside the airport to say "we're at the meeting point, where is the driver?". So, overall, while we got there in one piece in the end and the complaint email drew a response rather than the silence I expected, and perhaps a real KalkanVIP driver and vehicle would have been a different experience, I can't rate what might have happened. I can only rate what did happen and that was an extremely poor experience and follow up that didn't result in any kind of compensation. Would be hard to recommend this company on the strength of that.

So glad that I found this taxi service. Travelling from Antalya airport to Kas which was a daunting 3 hr drive. However, I was made super comfortable, immaculate minibus, given water and offered a toilet stop along the way. Professional and helpful driver for outgoing and return journeys. Highly recommended.

Amazing service. My girlfriend and I used this company to book a private transfer from Antalya to Capadoccia in a Mercedes VIP type van. They were on time, great communication, drivers were friendly, and they had the best price BY FAR without any need for negotiation.
