Super fun. Good for all ages. Challenging if you want it to be. You can take inflatable duckies down. Gera was our best guy ever this year. Took some really cool alternate routes. For the less daring you can ride on that big inflatable raft. My kids started when they were five and they are still doing it at 32

We went with Wild River Adventures on the Salmon River in early August for a 4-day, 3-night trip, and it was absolutely unforgettable! Six of us sisters (all busy moms) were able to truly relax, play, and recharge with zero responsibilities — a rare gift.
Our guides Alan, Kellan, and Gera were outstanding. Their attention to detail, friendly personalities, and deep knowledge of the river made us feel safe and cared for the entire time. They created the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation — from wildlife sightings to delicious meals, from cliff jumping to leisurely swims in the crystal-clear water.
The scenery was breathtaking, the food exceeded expectations, and the whole experience felt like the ultimate mix of fun and serenity. We left with full hearts, great memories, and a strong desire to come back.
Highly recommend Wild River Adventures for families, girls’ trips, or anyone wanting a unique adventure with top-notch guides.
We booked Wild River Adventures for the 3 night 4 day rafting trip, for a sister trips with 6 sister!! Our guides were the truly the best ever. They made sure "us sisters" played. They brought us snacks, set up games for us, set up our tents and cots, and made the most amazing food. We sisters truly got to relax and enjoy each other. But the best part about the trip was that our guides also hung out with us when we wanted to play games and be competitive. It seriously was one of the best trips I have ever been on. AND the rafting was great too.
Honestly this was so fun! We did a sister trip for the 3 night stay. I thought we were going to be doing some rough camping, but it was more like luxury on the river. We had steak dinner, yummy snacks and dessert every night. Our guides were so kind and really went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. It was so pretty and peaceful sleeping under the stars. If you’re thinking about doing it, definitely do it!
Just got back from our 4 day rafting trip with Kellen, Ross, and Howard. The trip was 10/10 because of these three! They worked so unbelievably hard to make sure we had good food, good beaches, and good rafting. As a business owner I know that customers don’t see most of what goes in to providing a positive experience so when I see exceptional service it needs to be shouted from the rooftops. We had more than a couple of pivots in our trip including a storm that rolled through with heavy wind, rain, lightning, and thunder. On top of getting our camp secured they made us hot cocoa while we were riding it out. They were not only hard working but personable, gracious, funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. I feel so incredibly grateful to have spent my time on the river with these three.
Now for the not so good. I am not sure if they were short staffed or if there is just generally no one in the office to answer phones but for the two days leading up to our trip I tried calling and texting multiple times to ask about our arrival time and about which days to get a fishing license for. We didn’t want to pay for days that couldn’t be used. No one ever returned my calls or texts so my boys ended up not getting to fish on the trip. It wasn’t the end of the world but the lack of communication was disappointing. Overall such a fun experience and now all three of my kids want to be rafting guides. Thanks again to Howard, Kellen, and Ross for giving us this experience. It was truly one we will talk about for many years.
We had the BEST time on the river with Matt this week!! Our boat had ages 7-50 and everyone had a blast!! Was nervous at first, but Matt did a great job explaining everything and making it fun and safe! Such wonderful facts and trivia along the way as well. We will definitely be back next year!! What a great day for floating. Our guide Kirsten was great and made it interesting and fun for the adults and kids alike! Very user friendly as far as getting in and out of the rafts. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The trip never felt rushed and we felt like we had all the time in the world to enjoy our float and have fun and explore.
