A very comfortable and spacious apartment for 2 people and very good value.
Dinant is a great location for exploring the area and the apartment has a great location next to the River Meuse, however the walk into town is about 25 minutes. We enjoyed our holiday there and the host was very welcoming and hospitable.
Such a great location. The view is beautiful. Marc was a great host. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Had a couple of questions which were responded to really quickly. A coffee on the balcony in the morning is a great way to start the day.
We hadden een fijne week bij Marc en Anne. Alles klopte zoals beschreven in de advertentie en Marc was erg goed bereikbaar. De fietsen konden we in de garage stallen, dus dat was perfect, net zoals de locatie, mooi vertrekpunt om te fietsen, kayak en winkel dichtbij (met de fiets over de sluis). S ochtends is er wel verkeer, maar wij hadden er geen last van toen we het rolluik neer lieten. Ook fijne tuin

☺Lovely apartment near Dinant. Everything you need to cook up a storm and expire the local area. Host greeted us and explained everything. Nice outdoor seating if the weather is good. Right on the river.
☹The upstairs light shining through the skylight at night making it difficult to sleep. Light is part of the upstairs apartment so couldn’t be shut off.

We had a fantastic stay at Marc and Anne’s place. The apartment was very clean with all the amenities you could need including a washer and dryer in the basement. Marc recommended some local excursions like kayaking on the Lesse and he even brought us beach towels to use. We had a great time. We also went to one of his recommended restaurants Cafe Ardennais and it was delicious we went back twice! Having parking was very convenient and we could park on the street in town for free after 5pm and lots of spaces were available. He also had two large fans and gave us tips on how to keep the place nice and cool during the heat wave and we were able to stay fairly cool and sleep well. The view from the living room and terrace are unreal. Our two kids ages 8 and 10 also loved that there were some board games they could play. Highly recommend staying here! Dinant is absolutely stunning and lots to do in the area if you have a car!

Wir durften vier Tage in dieser fantastichen Unterkunft verbringen. Vor dem Haus ist direkt der Fluss und hinter dem Haus kann man sehr gut auf der Terrasse mit ruhigem Garten entspannen. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und allem, was man während des Aufenthalts braucht ausgestattet. Der Vermieter ist sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Im Gite Kangourou kann man einfach ankommen, auspacken und genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

La literie est excellente , la route qui borde la chambre est toutefois passagère le matin surtout en semaine.Marc est un hôte accueillant et ponctuel. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. ☹Kein Fussgängerweg in die Innenstadt von Dinant, kein öffentlicher Nahverkehr. Man geht 30 Minuten an einer Autostrasse entlang oder muss selbst das Auto nutzen und Parkgebühr zahlen. Straße direkt vor dem Haus.
Wohnung konzipiert für Familie mit zwei Kindern: Kinderbett für Erwachsene etwas schmal, Dach-Zimmer im Sommer etwas stickig.
