El lugar es hermoso y superó todas nuestras expectativas. Fue una experiencia inolvidable. La hospitalidad y la atención personalizada de sus dueños y de Paolo hicieron que nuestra estadía fuera aún más especial; nos dieron un recorrido privado y nos contaron toda la historia de este lugar mágico. Además, encargamos una torta de cumpleaños y la tuvieron lista el mismo día de nuestra llegada, así que pudimos festejar un cumpleaños inolvidable. ¡Esperamos volver en otra oportunidad!

Vedere dalla strada Castel di Luco è un emozione che già ti toglie il respiro...ma soggiornare è ancora meglio.... Francesco Laura e Paolo ti accolgono e ti coccolano in un luogo incantevole....ti raccontano la storia del castello e traspare l' amore con cui è stato riportato alla vita e aperto agli ospiti che godranno dell' opportunità di vivere in una favola da cui è difficile andare via.

What an incredible place! An 11th century castle restored to an unbelievable hotel. It’s a one of a kind experience. Paola was wonderful! He met us at our car to help with our luggage, took us on a tour of the castle, answered all of our questions, gave us ideas of things to do, provided directions, and made our dinner reservations. He was very easy to communicate with in person & by using WhatsApp. The furnishings and the rooms were beautiful in every way. The staff was fabulous & took care of everything we needed. We stayed 5 nights and just can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was.

Our stay at Castel di Luco was an amazing experience, bringing us back to the atmosphere of the Middle Age. The Castel di Luco is beautifully renovated and offer to their guests the possibility to see how was life in a castle (wine-making, kitchen, jail, central court…). Upon arrival, you are offered a tour of the castle with many information about its history and evolution. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The shower is large, and we have a window with a view on the forest. We had an amazingly calm and restful night. The staff welcomed us warmly and helped us to bring our suitcases all the way up to the castle (with a small monorail). They were always open to talk with us, provide us information about the castle and the surroundings. We were there on a Saturday and there was the opportunity to have dinner on site. We took this opportunity and had a delicious 3-courses menu with local wine paring (including vino cotto!). All in all, we highly recommend the Castel di Luco! PS: the guard of the castle is a cute goat named Heidi.

Se desideri vivere per qualche giorno in un ambiente medioevale questo è il posto giusto e dormirci pure. È un po' arduo raggiungerlo ma ne vale la pena. Ottima la colazione con i favolosi biscotti fatti dalla Signora Laura. Lodevole l accoglienza in loco.

A really unique stay with lovely breakfast and staff. Don’t miss the guided tour of the castle with the owner! ☺Really unique property - an old converted castle! Lovely rooms, modern bathrooms, delicious breakfast, great experience ☹It’s fantastic. Only thing to know is that it is quite a steep climb up to the entrance and there is a bit of construction currently going on to a nearby property

Fantastiskt vackert gammal byggnad som renoverats varsamt, fick guidning av dess historia som va väldigt intressant. Rummet fint och smakfullt inrett. Dessvärre fanns ingen restaurang öppen när vi var där och blev rekommenderade en i byn som va riktigt dålig tyvärr (Cantina di Nenè). Hade varit trevlig om det funnits nån bar / välkomstdrink. Annars allt toppen. ☺cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities

Vi beklagar verkligen att restaurangupplevelsen i byn inte motsvarade era förväntningar. Vi tar också till oss er synpunkt om en bar eller välkomstdrink – det är ett trevligt förslag och något vi gärna tar med oss framåt.

Fantastische ervaring om hier te kunnen verblijven. Hartelijke ontvangst, geweldige service, heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt. Rondleiding en geschiedenis van dit kasteel en familie die hier tot voor kort nog hebben gewoond doet je beseffen wat een unieke plek dit is.

Ein Erlebnis! ☺Alles war unbeschreiblich schön...Die Lage war fantastisch. Die Ruhe die dieser Ort ausstrahlt ist nicht in Worte zu fassen. Das Personal war super nett. Frühstück wurde von der Besitzerin selbst zubereitet. Man merkt das es mit Liebe zum Detail restauriert wurde. Die Zimmer sind mit jedem Komfort ausgestattet, was man aufgrund eines Castello nicht so erwartet. Der Innenhof lädt Abends zum relaxen auf ein Glas Wein ein. Man kann diesen Aufenthalt nicht in Worte fassen.... Hundefreundlich 🐶 Ein Erlebnis welches man mit 11 von 10 Sternen bewerten könnte 🥰 Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen ❣️ Everything was indescribably beautiful... The location was fantastic. The tranquility this place exudes is beyond words. The staff was incredibly friendly. Breakfast was prepared by the owner herself. You can tell it was restored with love and attention to detail. The rooms are equipped with every comfort, which is unexpected in a castle. The courtyard is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. Dog frindly 🐶 This stay is simply indescribable... An experience that deserves 11 out of 10 stars 🥰 We will definitely be back ❣️ ☹Es gab nichts. Niente!!!

Unieke ervaring in fantastisch middeleeuws kasteel. ☺Unieke ervaring! Fantastische middeleeuwse burcht die met veel aandacht voor detail recent is gerenoveerd en van moderne gemakken voorzien. Bij aankomst rondleiding door familie die het kasteel al honderden jaren in bezit heeft. Uitgebreid ontbijt dat zich onderscheidt door enorme keuze aan Italiaanse patisserie. Gaan hier zeker nog keer heen.. ☹Kan niets bedenken.

☺Un posto incredibile. Laura, Francesco e i loro ragazzi gli host perfetti, super attenti anche alle intolleranze alimentari per la colazione con prodotti locali e fatti in casa. Paolo super disponibile con i suoi consigli. Tutto è in armonia con la location, dalla musica in filodiffusione e l'arredo ai profumi d'ambiente. Insomma il soggiorno perfetto. Grazie di tutto.

Con mia moglie abbiamo trascorso tre notti in questo magnifico castello memore di un'antica storia. La posizione è un po' decentrata rispetto alle principali mete di questo territorio, ma al contempo è in mezzo a tutte queste, per cui a 15-30 minuti di auto si raggiungono città d'arte come Ascoli Piceno, bellissima, o borghi come Ripatransone, Offida e altri. Noi siamo stati anche al passo Forca di Presta nel Comune di Arquata del Tronto, dove le ferite del terremoto sono ancora profonde...Una bellissima passeggiata di due ore porta a un punto panoramico in un contesto naturale notevole, ai piedi del monte Vettore. Il castello è stato ristrutturato dopo il terremoto ed è uno scrigno di bellezza. Noi avevamo la stanza Marianna, l'unica con il balconcino di pietra. Molto ampia, essenziale nello stile ma dotata di tutto quel che serve, ottimamente climatizzata. Abbiamo dormito nel silenzio assoluto. Pulizia eccellente. Paolo, Francesco e Laura accolgono con squisita cordialità i loro ospiti e condividono la storia del luogo e della loro famiglia, e le loro esperienze di vita. Posso dire che è stato un soggiorno davvero particolarmente bello e ricco di umanità, cosa non certo scontata. Segnaliamo che, come peraltro bene evidenziato sul sito, la salita al castello richiede di percorrere un'antica scala in pietra. Tuttavia il trasporto dei bagagli è facilitato tramite una piccola cremagliera che porta le valigie fino all'ingresso. La colazione servita nei locali storici a piano terra è molto varia, con prodotti del territorio e ottimi dolci fatti in casa. E' disponibile anche una scelta di salato. Il livello del servizio è ottimo e sempre cordiale. Al momento inserisco qualche foto in bianco e nero, quelle a colori le devo ancora elaborare, le inserirò successivamente.

Siamo davvero felici che abbiate scelto di fermarvi a Castel di Luco per tre notti e che abbiate potuto vivere il castello e il territorio con la calma necessaria per scoprirne anche gli angoli più suggestivi. Ci fa particolarmente piacere sapere che avete apprezzato la stanza Marianna, il silenzio del castello, la colazione e, soprattutto, quella dimensione più umana e familiare che cerchiamo di condividere con i nostri ospiti.
Le sue parole sul rapporto con Paolo, Francesco e Laura ci hanno fatto davvero piacere: poter raccontare la storia del castello, della nostra famiglia e condividere qualche esperienza personale è una parte importante di ciò che significa per noi accogliere.
Grazie anche per aver raccontato con tanta attenzione il territorio e per aver segnalato con chiarezza la presenza della scala e il servizio per il trasporto dei bagagli.
