Our week at Casa al Mar was nothing short of extraordinary. The house itself is beautiful and spacious, but what truly elevated this vacation into something unforgettable was the remarkable staff and their attention to every detail. From the chef and bartender to the housekeeper, manager, boat captain, and snorkeling guide, each person made us feel genuinely cared for and our needs anticipated at every turn. Some of our favorite highlights included incredible snorkeling adventures, petting rays and nurse sharks, a memorable beach BBQ, and exploring nearby local islands. A few members of our group also ventured inland for a cave tubing experience, which they loved. Two of us followed our hosts’ suggestion to walk down to a nearby resort for a spa visit, and it did not disappoint. It added an extra layer of relaxation to an already elite experience. Transfers to and from the airport were completely seamless, fully handled by our manager with door-to-door escort both ways, allowing us to truly relax from the moment we arrived. Thoughtful surprises, like customized tumblers and fresh cocktails waiting for us upon arrival, made the experience feel personal and special. This trip truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. We’re leaving Casa al Mar with unforgettable memories. We couldn’t recommend it more highly and hope to return someday. 🌊✨

If I could give this stay six stars, I absolutely would. Our mid-January stay at Casa Al Mar on St. George’s Caye was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. Everyone was personable, kind, and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. It felt effortless to relax because every detail was handled so thoughtfully. The food alone deserves its own praise — easily a 10 out of 10. Every day brought something new, beautifully prepared, and consistently delicious. Meals felt both elevated and comforting, and it was clear how much care went into every dish. One of the standout aspects of the experience was the access to a boat, a dedicated captain, and certified guides. Being able to snorkel, fish, kayak, explore sandbars, and visit nearby islands so easily made this trip truly one of a kind. It added an enormous amount of value and flexibility to the stay and allowed us to experience Belize in a way that would be very hard to replicate elsewhere. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the people. By the end of the trip, we didn’t feel like guests — we felt like friends. There was constant laughter, easy joking, and genuine back-and-forth banter with the staff that made every day more fun. Leaving felt less like checking out of a vacation rental and more like saying goodbye to people we had really connected with. What struck all of us was how much this experience felt like it should have cost far more than it did. We traveled as a group of eight adults, and it was perfect for us, but it’s easy to see how Casa al Mar would be just as magical for families with children. This was one of those rare trips where everything exceeded expectations. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend Casa al Mar without hesitation to anyone looking for a truly unique, high quality topical experience.

Casa al Mar – St. George’s Caye, Belize Our stay at Casa al Mar (January 2026) was truly exceptional and easily one of the best vacation experiences we’ve ever had. This is a fully staffed home, and the team and location make this experience unforgettable. For context, we were a group of 8 adults from America celebrating 40th birthdays. To summarize this entire experience- everything is taken care of completely. You do not cook, clean, or plan…. Basically you are a kid at summer camp, only to worry about your friends and having fun! The house is spacious with plenty of privacy for everyone. There are great community spaces for relaxing. The front of the house dock is incredible with hammocks and chairs for looking out to spot all sorts of birds, fish, and dolphins. The back of the house features a dock as well overlooking the mangroves where you can go on a kayak. Our week featured the below staff members who made our experience unforgettable. Javier was our host for our week - he worked with the team to plan each day to best accommodate the weather and avoid cruise ship crowds coming into Belize City. Armando (our boat captain) was outstanding. He confidently pushed through a small rain storm or choppy seas on days we might have second-guessed—and those ended up being our very best days on the water. Thanks to him and Melvin (our guide), we saw dolphins, manatees, rays, a sea turtles and so many fish. Our guide Melvin struck the perfect balance between education, exploration, and humor- making sure we learned while also seeing as much as possible. Every outing felt thoughtful and never rushed. Don’t pass up any of the Casa al Mar standard offerings! Our highlights were anytime spent with Armando and Melvin - drop fishing, swimming with rays and sharks was like standing inside a living touch tank, literally surrounded (and gently hugged!) by stingrays. The beach BBQ day on Goff’s Caye is not to be missed. The entire staff has an incredible ability to anticipate your needs before you even realize them yourself. They are always paying attention and perceptive to how every individual in the group is feeling. Fanny took wonderful care of the house (and us!), and Alrick handled maintenance behind the scenes. This included going on a couple of outings to source coconuts and open them for everyone in the group to enjoy with a splash of rum. The food was phenomenal. Chef Estevan delivered fresh, delicious Belizean meals every day and was accommodating of allergies and preferences across our group. Marlene’s desserts were a standout—different each day and consistently excellent. Truly restaurant-quality dining in a private setting. Trisha, our bartender, was fantastic. She listened to what we liked, helped us plan ahead by creating a liquor list, and made sure everyone had exactly what they wanted throughout the week. Say yes to whatever the house team offers you. Our experiences with them were the highlight of the trip. Bring bug spray! look for the duty-free liquor store at the airport, you can WhatsApp your order in advance—very easy and convenient. Casa al Mar is special because of its people. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate. It’s a rare kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. My family and I have a tradition of traveling somewhere new for Christmas every three years, and this year our home away from home was Casa Al Mar. Without a doubt, this was our best experience yet ♥️ From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed—so friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. The staff went above and beyond, teaching us about the history of Belize and St. George’s Caye, identifying birds, scouting for manatees, finding the best fishing spots, and even playing alongside dolphins. Every single day brought a new adventure: snorkeling the reef, visiting sandbars, shopping in Caye Caulker, spending time at The Split, swimming with stingrays and nurse sharks, feeding tarpons, fishing—the list truly goes on and on (all with tasty beverages in hand, of course)! Back at the house, we were treated to delicious meals, appetizers, and drinks, along with endless opportunities to relax and connect—games to play, bag boards, a volleyball net, kayaks, and a beautiful dock perfect for hammock lounging or soaking up the sun. The atmosphere was peaceful, fun, and effortlessly special. Our four-night stay simply wasn’t long enough, so I’d strongly recommend planning for more time to fully enjoy everything Casa Al Mar has to offer. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Casa Al Mar for making our holiday so memorable and for taking such wonderful care of us. We are incredibly grateful that you helped us celebrate not only Christmas, but also our parents’ 47th wedding anniversary. This trip was unforgettable—filled with adventure, laughter, and once-in-a-lifetime memories. Truly one of a kind.

Fantastic, friendly staff and amazing food! Everyone definitely made sure our vacation was special, right down to a magical anniversary dinner and celebration. Our boat crew made our water and land adventures both fun and educational and were very encouraging and patient introducing us to new experiences in these beautiful blue waters. Our group was a family ranging in age from 11 to 77 and we all had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend!

To say that this was the best vacation is an understatement. The staff at the all inclusive vacation home is outstanding. Javier and his crew know what it means to provide top notch service. Trish the bartender, Armando the boat captain, Melvin aka I can’t say his nickname name, and junior , can’t forget Fanny. The house is nice, the views even better. Food was good. Everything was laid out for us, we told them what we wanted to do, and bang it was done. I would recommend very go to St. George’s Caye and stay at Casa Al Mar

Our family of five, The Adventure Buddies, had the most incredible experience at Casa Al Mar, St. George’s Caye. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an outstanding team of eight dedicated staff members who made sure our stay was nothing short of perfection. One of the biggest highlights was having our own boat captain, who took us on thrilling adventures—fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, sandbar exploring, swimming with sharks, and even feeding tarpon! Every excursion felt personal and tailored just for us, making each day an exciting new experience. While we were out exploring, the amazing staff took care of everything else. They prepared incredible meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring we were always well-fed with delicious food. They even babysat the kids, played games, and set up an unforgettable beach BBQ on a deserted island! Talk about top-notch service! The house itself is stunning, sleeping up to 14 guests comfortably. We loved relaxing in the hammocks, taking in the ocean breeze, and enjoying the two docks—one facing the mangroves and the other overlooking the ocean, both perfect for watching the sunset. Whether you’re planning a family trip, a getaway with friends, a birthday celebration, or a reunion, Casa Al Mar is the perfect place. We’re already counting down the days until we can return!

We stayed at Casa Al Mar in July 2024 with 7 adults and 7 tweens/teens. Our stay was beyond anything we could have ever imagined. The staff, house, and location are nothing short of 5 stars. Our family travels quite regularly, this was the first family vacation that I was able to vacation WITH my kids. I didn’t have to worry about a thing - no planning, no cooking, no cleaning, absolutely nothing. The staff took care of EVERYTHING for everyone!! We have truly never experienced anything like it! I actually teared up when leaving. These folks will forever hold a special place in our hearts and family memories. Upon inquiring about availability for our group of 14, Giovanna was a delight to work with when booking. She made the whole process so easy, breaking down and managing costs for each party, communicating expectations, managing room assignments, dietary needs, and even checking on us when a hurricane was headed to Texas! The personal service she provided made me realize we were in for a treat! She and manager, Javier were at the airport to greet my parents and set them up comfortably at a restaurant while they waited for our flight to arrive. Travel to the boat dock was quick and easy, as was our boat ride to the island. We were welcomed by the owners, Mr. and Mrs. McNab which was a nice and unexpected surprise! Upon arrival to the house, Fannie and Trisha greeted us with delicious appetizers and beverages. We were all pleasantly surprised to find personalized tumblers in our rooms that made for awesome souvenirs - such a great touch! Every meal was delicious and the staff did a wonderful job of letting us set our meal schedules. Kudos to the chef, as my picky teens devoured so many new dishes and are still raving about them! Trisha is a pro behind the bar. She makes a delicious pineapple cocktail. ☺️ Captain Armando, Denroy, and Candace took us on countless memorable adventures! These three are THE professionals. We learned so much about Belize, the ecosystem, saw manatees, dolphins, so many beautiful fish and coral. We swam with nurse sharks and stingrays, drop fished for HOURS (my teen boys are obsessed with fishing now 😅). We visited the most beautiful sandbar for an afternoon of swimming, football, and playing. We kayaked, spent the afternoon in Caye Caulker, and toured the mangroves. The staff was so attentive to everyone’s needs - staying close to those that weren’t strong swimmers while snorkeling to ensure everyone had a great experience, changing plans when our very sunburned and tired family decided to pivot on our itinerary, being available for our kids when they decided night fishing was a must (baiting hooks for each of them for what seemed like forever and untangling many tangled lines - THANK YOU JUNIOR!!). Our last night, we were surprised with a beautiful “farewell dinner” outside. We dined and danced into the night and the staff truly became family. I could go on and on about this magical place. Do not hesitate to book here, as it is truly a once in a lifetime experience. That said, we’re already planning our next visit to Casa Al Mar!!

Our stay at Casa Al Mar was beyond exceptional. I would highly recommend this beautiful home for groups looking for a truly all-inclusive, upscale, off the grid experience with a large, very attentive and friendly staff taking care of everything. St. George's Caye is a very small island and throughout our stay we only saw a few other people so it was almost as if we had it all to ourselves. The staff kept us busy every day with activities (snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, etc.), fabulous meals, and great drinks! We were in need of some special accommodations (dietary and physical) and the staff went out of their way to ensure that those needs we met. Casa Al Mar is a true paradise!

Casa Al Mar was a beautiful and relaxing vacation for our family. After the loss of our mother, and siblings in different parts of the country we needed a peaceful relaxing place to reflect, unwind, and enjoy family time. The crystal blue waters, hammocks, comfortable beds, and great meals were just what we needed. Just a 30 min boat ride from Belize City was so convenient for a quick weekend trip. Thank you for a great relaxing weekend! We will definitely be back!
