Rating Carter Mechanical 5 stars simply isn’t enough. Larry, 1st off, is the most knowledgeable man when it comes to anything HVAC related. We truly appreciate the time he took to throughly explain everything to us and the “no pressure to buy” that he exemplifies. The installation crew we had was top notch. These guys took their time to make sure everything was spot on. No mess left behind, welcoming to our fur babies that just wanted to see what was going on, respectful and very kind. Jeff was also amazing as he listened to our needs and brainstormed a game plan with my husband to get the future jobs done. Highly recommend Carter Mechanical to anyone that needs HVAC work!

I had the best experience with this company. It's hard to find good reliable, go outta their way, contractors around here. I've had my share of not so great. Carter mechanical went above n beyond helping me get a water heater. The receptionist didn't stop. She called and dealt with homeserve so many times. Semco. She cared and fought to help me. The guys were also amazing explaining everything step by step from start to finish. I've already recommended them to others that need stuff like I did. Very grateful! Thank u once more to all of u at carter.

Larry really knows his Geothermal Furnaces. Watched whole time he was here. Took time to explain things to me which I value. Things weren't as bad as expected. I would call on Larry again.

Of I could give Carter Mechanical 10 stars would give them 15 stars!!! I just bought a house in Yale and 3 to 4 moved in our furnace went out. The temperature was in the teens or below at that time. I called another heating and cooling place (I should have called Carter first) and they said it was a $1,300.00 part to fix it. Like I said I just bought our home I'm the only one working cause my wife is disabled and I have 3 kids. So I went to Carter and asked how much they sold this part for and I still never got the price!! Lol A very nice lady at the front desk ( I really bad with name I apologize) said here fill this out we work with semco and another organization and they help low income families get new furnaces..... Carter mechanical helped get my family and I get a new furnace. I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR HELP WITH HEATUNG AND COOLING! I will refur them to anyone that needs help!!! There are not just a company looking for money their a company with a huge heart! Carter Mechanical is #1 in my book and my book is small! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!!

I had my furnace installed 7 years ago it works very well. I had a sudden issue with it,and Larry and his crew came out within an hour and a half, diagnosed the issue,and had the part in stock. We were back up and running withing three hours.

We will only use Carter Mechanical!! We bought our new furnace from them. They installed about 4 years ago. The best part was Larry dropped off space heaters for us so our family could be nice and toasty for our Christmas dinner. He wouldn't be able to come out until the following week. Yesterday he came out to service it for us it wasn't kicking out heat. A little loving touch on it got her all better.

Today is New Year’s Eve. This company was out of approximately 2 to 3 weeks ago. Did show up on time and have a professional demeanor although Larry was unable to solve our intermediate issue. When I called the office today, the secretary notified me they wouldn’t be able to come out for two days as there’s a holiday tomorrow and notified us that there would be a service fee after inquiring why there would be a service fee when a worker was just out we were notified they would wave it. Ended up canceling and had a different Company assist in fixing what was our motherboard so that way we were not without heat so Carter mechanical would have left us for a few days. I have also not received the inspection report as I was told would be emailed.

Hi Meghan, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’d like to provide some additional context regarding your service experience. At the time of your call on New Year’s Eve, our standard schedule was fully booked, and the only availability we had was after-hours service, which does carry a higher call-out fee. While we do offer a 30-day guarantee on diagnostic fees during normal business hours, this guarantee does not apply to after-hours or holiday calls.

Regarding communication, our records indicate that your invoice and diagnostic findings were successfully emailed on 12/16/25. While we understand that technology issues can occasionally occur, a quick phone call letting us know the email wasn’t received would have allowed us to resend it immediately.

Intermittent issues can unfortunately be difficult to diagnose, and we always do our best to provide accurate findings based on the conditions present at the time of service. We truly value feedback like yours, as it helps us improve, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify these details for future customers.

My boiler pump was leaking, and I had other concerns with my hose and wall plug for the pump. Andalyn took care of it; I sent her pictures of everything, and she reviewed them and sent them to Larry the very next day. He had everything he needed on his truck to do the repair and replacement. Larry was just as impressive. He explained what he was doing in detail and clarified that a few things I thought needed replacing actually didn't. Larry also mentioned that I had the option to sign up for a maintenance plan that could save me money. This wasn't a pressure sales tactic like you often see; it was a relaxed conversation to inform me of options that could help me save money on maintaining my boiler heating system annually, and I decided to go ahead and opt in. Thanks to Carter Mechanical, you provide professional and outstanding service!
