I’ve been coming to this dental office since 2015 and I have had nothing short of a great experience. I needed a dentist home, walked in met Dr. Arsen and Martha and felt welcomed from day one. I always feel comfortable during procedures, never nervous. Dr. Arsen is thorough and detailed which I appreciate. Every member of this team have been kind and patient. I don’t have any plans of finding another dental office. I highly recommend!

For many years, I would honestly make up any excuse not to go to the dentist. Every experience I had before was negative, stressful, and something I truly dreaded. That completely changed the moment I walked into Canoga Valley Dental and met Dr. Arsen.
For the first time in my life, I actually felt excited and motivated about my treatment plan. Dr. Arsen took the time to explain everything clearly, came up with a plan that made sense, and -- most importantly -- made me feel confident and comfortable following through until the very end. That has never happened to me at any other dental office.
I can honestly write a million things about how great Dr. Arsen is, but until you walk through the door and experience it yourself, you won't fully understand. He's not just an incredible dentist -- he's genuinely a great person. I never thought I'd say this, but I actually like and trust going to the dentist now.
The front office staff is just as amazing, especially Martha. She truly went above and beyond in ways you rarely see anymore. She stayed on top of me to make sure I didn't miss appointments, knew I had a habit of running late, and jumped through hoops to help keep me on track -- without ever making me feel uncomfortable or judged. She even took the extra step to coordinate with my wife and my dad (who I work with) to make sure I could get to my appointments on time. That level of dedication is almost impossible to find.
What really sets this office apart is that everyone here truly cares about your well-being. This is not one of those places where you feel rushed or treated like just another patient for a paycheck. The care, patience, and genuine concern from the entire team is something I've never experienced anywhere else.
I feel incredibly blessed to have found Canoga Valley Dental. Dr. Arsen and his team have completely changed how I feel about dental care, and I can confidently say I'm with this office for life.

I just moved back to the valley to take care of my sick mother and had to find a new dentist. I don't know why but I think I was feeling that I'm back where I grew up and I can trust people.
This doctor talked me into buying a tooth guard I didn't want and didn't need. He was insisting I grind my teeth. I was telling him I think I grinded my teeth in the past but I don't think I do it anymore. I don't know why I doubted myself. I should have seen the red flag when I asked him how much it is and he said "I don't know."
When I finished my cleaning it was on the bill for $450 and I paid it, I can't explain why. I was stupid for doing that, I know.
My wife confirmed when I got home that no, I do not grind my teeth any longer. Early the next morning I emailed to cancel. No one replied so I called later in the day and they said there might be a lab fee but the person who deals with the lab is out sick for the week.
I called again today 1 week later and she said unfortunately they can't give me any refund.
Letting people know I wouldn't trust this place. It is BS that the Dr. didn't know how much they are selling their products for. It is also BS that they "couldn't cancel because the person who does it is out sick."
To top it off, this whole past week, no one from their office has called me or emailed back. I've had to be the one to call them each time.

I have never felt so violated by a dentist till today! The appt was a 3 week wait. Took me longer to fill out forms then to actually see the doctor. Take x-rays and next thing I know I need wisdom teeth pulled cause I don't need them. A bunch of root canals for prevention and some bridges done. Is this Dr at Canoga Valley serious?! To the tune of 6k for the first treatment?! And they had me sign for work not done???? I don't know anyone in their right mind who would say yes sure let's do this. Walked out and called to have my paperwork shredded! Oh we don't do that. I'll call my insurance about this visit.

As a new patient our job is to do a complete comprehensive oral exam and explain and go over it thoroughly with the patient.
You had a chief complaint where we addressed it for you by explaining and showing the source on the x-ray.
You were explained and informed of all the treatments and options for which we gave you an estimate and paperwork to sign that you are aware of it.
By signing it, you are not obligated to do any of the treatments. It’s just informing you that we went over it with you.

I am so grateful I found Canoga Valley Dental!! I broke a tooth about a year and a half ago, and after having a bad experience with another dentist in Sherman oaks, I decided to wait it out until the tooth became problem (bad idea, I know).
I woke up in the middle of the night with a pain level of 9, and immediately knew I was in trouble. I was working on Burbank that day and looked on yelp to see if there was a dentist close by that I could make an appt with. Martha called me back immediately and set up an appt at their Canoga office as soon as they could see me.
The front desk was so incredibly helpful and put me at ease immediately. I knew I was in good hands before arriving at my appt. Once I went to my appointment, Martha and Veronica greeted me with a smile as I was shaking in pain. They took me straight back to address my broken tooth.
Turns out I had a bad infection and needed a root canal and a crown. I’ve never had this type of dental work done, but the dentist put me at ease and got to work. He performed the root canal, and scheduled me to come back for my crown.
I couldn’t be happier with the service I received at Canoga Valley Dental. They saw the amount of pain I was in and addressed it swiftly, and I felt zero pain during the root canal and crown procedures.
I highly recommend the team at Canoga Vallry Dental and am so glad yelp lead me to them. Even tho I live in West Hollywood, I am happy to make the drive to their Canoga or Burbank office just to know I am in good hands.

I have to say this place is the best that I was looking for Dr Arsen Nazloyan he knows what to do and he knows the decision that we need to get. I love all the staff working there also it is clean and atmosphere is perfect. although I was nervous and in a rush. Martha was helping me with my son, I wish the best for all of them.
Amazing practice! The staff is very courteous, professional and always accomodating. I just had my appointment which I was dreading last Monday and honestly I came out with a smile. I had a crown replaced and the doctor always made sure to ask if I was in any pain or discomfort. I felt nothing at all. He is truly a gem! He always asks about life and family and he does this with all his patients since i can overhear him. His bedside manner and kind attitude makes a trip to the dental a great experience.

Thank you everyone working here! I called on a Wednesday afternoon for my mom's dental emergency. I spoke with Martha, who took her time explaining everything to me. She was extremely patient as I asked to call her back several times with more questions. She even 3-way called my mom with me to answer additional questions she had. Martha was able to get my mom in ASAP. At the dental office, everyone was extremely patient and caring with my mom. Martha came to personally greet my mom and worked with her to get her the best pricing since she was paying out of pocket. The dentist was very kind and welcoming and really put my mother at ease with her dental emergency. I went Canoga Valley Dental and they were great. The staff are friendly and all that was done was explained and the answered all my questions.
The entire Staff with Canoga Valley Dental is accomodating. I am always greeted by the receptionist's Becky and Veto as if I was Family. The hygenists are second to none. Dr. Arson himself is tentative and great at explaining the procedures before they begin.

They are extremely rude and rushed a procedure because the dentist had three patients at one time.
He apologized to one patient, but not us like we didn't matter.
Also they NEVER WASH THEIR HANDS!!
Now because of the procedure being rushed my daughter has nerve damage.
They invited me back and then asked me why I was back there and that I was in the way.
I didn't leave because that was unacceptable to treat anyone that way.
I will be going elsewhere because no one deserves to be treated that way.
If you need quality care, don't go to this office.

After doing much research over the years I have decided to retract my previous bad review and give this dental office 5 stars. They did not give me an unnecessary cleaning and that means that they are not greedy and they care about the well being of their patients. The office experience was also fantastic from what I remember. All the staff were polite and kind and attentive. I haven't lived in this area for many years but I thought It was important to do the right thing by updating this review. They deserve a good review after the awful things I've experienced at other offices trying to scam patients. I feel this is a fair honest practice.
