My wife, kids and extended family had the most wonderful time on the Aquaduck this morning. From start to finish, the whole experience was friendly, professional, warm and incredibly well organised. Our tour guide Katie and driver Chris were absolutely brilliant and made the experience even more enjoyable. The kids getting the chance to have a drive themselves was a real highlight and something they definitely won’t forget!! We all had such a fantastic time and couldn’t recommend the Aquaduck highly enough. A marvellous experience for the whole family!
We really enjoyed the Aquaduck. Easy to book online and in a great central location. We were actually surprised by how much we enjoyed the amphibious vehicle itself, such a fun and different way to see the Gold Coast.
Tracey and Richie made the experience special, welcoming, genuinely funny, great with the kids and very knowledgeable. Time flew by.
The kids absolutely loved getting a turn to drive once we were on the water, which was definitely a highlight for them.

Had a fun time. The boat ride was interesting and all the kids got a turn to sit at the steering wheel which was great. Get good family activity and a great way to see more of Gold Coast than just Surfers. As well as the driver there was a tour guide and he did a great job of running the tour. He pointed out parts of the Gold Coast such as the Tedder Ave restaurant strip which as tourists was good to know about.
Have to give only 4 stars for two reasons: first is that my family was left off the manifest of each boat despite checking in, so it was confusing if we would even get a spot even after paying online. The trip was fully booked and our seats weren't given to someone else, but it didn't leave a great first impression.
The second is that based on where the office is (in Surfers Paradise), I assumed we would be going on the river which was right next to it. However the launch site is actually in Southport which at the time we left (4.30pm) was a 15 minute drive. This meant that the water section of the trip was 30 mins as it took another 15 to get back. I understand that being in Surfers means easier for tourists to get to check in, I would have just preferred more like 5 to 10 minutes drive and longer on the water. Something to bear in mind for other people who book, if you can attend an earlier time than 4.30pm you may spend less time in traffic and more on the water.
All in all I would definitely recommend it as as it is a cool novelty being on a vehicle that can go into the water, and it is a great experience for kids.

Aquaduck is a combined city and river tour, so the road section is a big part of the experience. Cruising through Surfers Paradise and along the Esplanade in an amphibious vehicle gets plenty of looks, with our guides pointing out landmarks and houses along the way, before the big splash. Glad the local tips, like the Tedder Avenue dining strip, were useful too. Hope to see you and the family again next time you're on the Coast!

We took the evening tour and it was absolutely exceptional. Our tour guide, Luke, was fabulous, his sense of humour was remarkable, making our experience one we'll never forget. Additionally, our captain, Jerry, made us aware of everything we needed to know about the waters we were "driving" in and was clearly enjoying sharing the fun facts he knew with us. Another shout out to Jerry for allowing the kids fo steer the boat whilst it was in the water, making it a truly memorable experience for all of them.

My partner and I are in our mid twenty’s and love all boat rides, so we thought we would test out the aqua duck. Not a great idea.
We want to give credit where it is due, David! He told so many jokes and made part of it fun and engaging. We couldn’t have fault him one bit.
But Jeremy was another story. We politely asked him if we could have a go at driving the aqua duck after the kids. The response was a rude “no” and he went on to say “it’s all about the kids, then every adult would want a turn.” Which is understandable, but could have been said nicely. We were two adults paying $65 each. We come from the country, so we never got the opportunity at kids to drive the aqua duck.
They should really look in to a way to extend the tour and let adults drive! Or maybe have that as an option to do an additional add on.

The lady sorry I forgot the name lady and the pilot was Andy. they were very good very friendly and they did the far and beyond for customer service and they took picture of the people inside the duck. Overall my experience was very exceptional and I enjoyed a lot.. this activity is recommended for old kids and all aged person to have some fun in the water.

We had such an amazing time on the Aqua Duck tour with Margi and Andy! They were both so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, and made the experience so enjoyable.
My daughter especially loved getting the chance to steer the boat — it was definitely a highlight for her!
There was so much great information about the area, and we learned a lot while having plenty of fun along the way. We’re from Sydney and visiting on holiday, and this was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
