The best experience, something I have looked forward to doing for a long time. We did the 5KM and it was great we could of went for longer. My 2 year old and 5 year old daughters absolutely loved it and adored the dogs. The guides are very friendly and professional, small mom and pop feeling. Not big tourist trap feeling place like most of Lapland.
Great fun, great welfare
When we initially booked to visit Lapland with the family I wanted to tick off all the usual tourist activities and husky sledding was one of them. Luckily I did some research and I realised that not all companies prioritise the welfare of the animals. I booked wild kemoji due to the excellent reviews and their dog welfare. Wild Kemoji have a small pack of competition huskies and the owners compete regularly. This means that the welfare of the dogs is a top priority, they need their dogs in peak physical condition to race. They offer limited spaces to tourists to experience sledding with the dogs. As soon as you get on the sled you can see how much the dogs love it and they can’t wait to start running. We did a short 2km run as I was worried about the kids getting cold but I wish we had booked a 5km as it was so much fun. The handlers are very knowledgeable and knew each dogs name and personality. We had plenty of time to pet the dogs after and ask lots of questions. It definitely didn’t feel rushed or like a tourist trap (it’s in the middle of a Forrest and there’s no running water). If you want to do a husky ride and care about animals I can highly recommend Wild Kemoji.

The staff were informed, helpful and friendly, the doggos were happy, enthusiastic and affectionate.
Riding is straightforward and a special experience, so definitely give it a go. The sausage was also a great way to wrap up the adventure.
Tip: Get there a little early as the starting point is a few mins down the left of the house as directed on the ticket. We were a little unsure we were in the right place so you want some extra time just in case.
The most amazing experience! We all loved it, the husky dogs are happy and the staff are lovely!
We loved every minute from cuddling the husky’s to having our husky ride and even being able to keep warm and have a drink and snack in the hut.

This was a highlight for us as a family. We toyed with which company to go with and we absolutely made the right choice. We did the 5k ride. It was perfect and a great introduction to mushing.
Communication was great. Jan contacted us a couple of days prior to our booking to confirm the conditions were safe for the dogs and us. He was quick to respond to any questions which was great and reassuring.
Jan and Denisa clearly love their doggies and are extremely knowledgeable.
The ride was so much fun and the kids loved it. Afterwards there was chance to spend time with the dogs whilst they rested. As the dogs were unharnessed there was opportunity for some food and a warm drink by the fire.
We were picked up at the tourist information centre and dropped off afterwards. The whole experience was extra special for the girls who loved having extra cuddles with Angel and Toga on the journey back to Levi. They’d have brought them home if they could have.
We would absolutely recommend Wild Kemijoki. Thank you so much

Eine perfekte Erinnerung an einen unglaublichen Urlaub in Lappland.
We had a wonderful tour with four powerful and playful huskies. After a good introduction, we started navigating the sled ourselves and could change between driver and passenger seat mid-way.
At the end, a warm, cozy hut waited for us with hot tea - make sure to book the extra reindeer sausage for some more energy. After warming up, it was cuddling time with the huskies.
If you are planning on going with very little kids (under 8 years of age), make sure they are really warm, else they won’t be able to enjoy the ride as we noticed by another family doing the trip with us.
This was a highlight of our holiday. The owners made this such a special, personal experience. We were collected, driven to where we did the mush and then got the opportunity to have pictures and stroke the huskies. We then went for a hot drink and cookies whilst the huskies rested and then went to meet and stroke them all individually. The huskies are treated more like family members and are very well cared for.

Myself and my two kids (9 and 11) had a great morning with Jan and Denisa and their lovely dogs. We did the small musher which was the perfect length to get a feel for husky sledding. The dogs are impeccably trained and really friendly. After the sled ride we spent loads of time meeting and cuddling all 21 members of the pack. The kids loved that Jan brought his pet husky Togo with him in the mini van for the pick up and return journey to Levi. The whole experience more than lived up to expectations. Thanks guys!

Our absolute highlight of our Lappland holiday! Pickup from Levi Info was quick and easy and Jan even brought two of his dogs to the pick-up, so we could already cuddle them on the way, that was great. Even though we had difficult conditions (fresh snow and slightly above freezing temperatures), Jan was very helpful in making us feel safe and confident. Even though I was a little scared, I drove the sled on the way back from the halfway point and it felt great. Afterwards we were able to meet the dogs, pet them and say thank you as well as have a hot berry juice and vegetarian sausage in a cute little hut. Jan told us all about caring for the dogs and dog sledding races. We loved their ethical approach to these tours and you could really feel that their dogs are cared for and loved very much. A wonderful experience all around, 10/10 recommend!
Very bad client’s relationship
I don’t know if Jan loves his dogs but for sure he loves your purse. Hopefully I booked through the Levi tourist office who managed to book our safari in another serious husky farm.Pass your way, this guy may change at the last minute your booking with a ridiculous amount of refund and no excuse. The reason can be right but his policy of refund is totally unacceptable. A big thank you to the tourist office for his great help in this matter.

I’m sorry to hear that you feel that bad. Seems that your scandalous behavior continues as you threatened :)I contacted you two day prior the experience to ask you if you can change the timing for morning as the weather might not be suitable for our dogs to pull you around. I also told you, that IF it will be too warm, we might cancel the 10km and change it to 5km. Then your show started, when you threaten that you will post a articles about us and what not.You were offered standard price as the 5km is sold for (144€/adult), and you will be refunded the difference. If you think, that 5km is half the price, think again please. It will be half a price when I will drive you from Levi but not back, I will show you half of the dogs and will tell you half of the stories about Siberians and competitions. And I’m sorry, that I didn’t make any excuse.. Oh, sorry, I did. Weather is one thing which we can’t do anything about. And I’m sorry that I didn’t let you know about the weather 5 weeks before, when you booked. This is impossible

We went for the 10 km solo drive and it was sooo much fun! The dogs are living the best lives and loved pulling the sleds as well as cuddling afterwards. You can tell that Jan and Denisa care for them with all their hearts. I'd recommend visiting them to everyone!
