Trees UK Reviews

Trees UK of Bromley did a great job on the 30% crown reduction and reshaping of my sycamore tree. Knowledgable advisor visited to assess the job and offered very helpful advice, full quote including details of their public liability insurance was provided. The crew on the day were fantastic, the work took just over 2 hours and they completely tidied up afterwards. I would highly recommend Trees UK for a small job like mine or for larger work. A well deserved 5 out of 5 stars. Thank you Trees UK, my garden is so much sunnier now the tree has been reduced. Before and After photos attached. Used Trees UK again to bring my front hedge under control. Very happy with the work done.

Tree-uk of Bromley did a fantastic job cutting down a large oak that unfortunately had become diseased and potentially dangerous. They also reduced the height of a hedge that had got out of hand and removed overhanging branches from a neighbouring tree that was too close to the house. They were very polite, great communicators and went over and beyond to deliver a great service. Dealt with neighbours and left the site clean when they were done. The quote was reasonable for quite a large job.very happy with their service. I would recommend.

We needed an Oak tree at the back of our garden trimmed down as it was overhanging my garden, the guys turned up promptly and got to work straight away, it only took them an hour to trim the tree, and they did a brilliant job and cleaned up completely before they left. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them again in the future.

Very happy with the felling of Leyland Cypress in my garden. Team arrived bright and early and did a very professional job removing all waste from the garden. Would recommend and use again. Thanks! Update: Sept 2026 - team came back to remove the three tree stumps and roots of a Fatsia Japonica shrub as I am now ready to landscape the garden. Very happy with the quality of the work. I will be asking Trees UK to help plant a new tree at the back of my garden later this year.

Fantastic job by Trees UK removing two large trees that were contributing to subsidence at our house. The team were professional, efficient and careful throughout and left everything tidy afterwards. We are really pleased with the work and would highly recommend them.

The team did a great job at taking down 2 trees overhanging the neighbours yard. From initial inspection to final clean up the service was highly professional and with attention to detail. If anything, they were a little too zealous with the cleanup, scooping up a bit of the desertified lawn. There was no stress at any point, eventhough the trees were huge, their incline dangerous and access restricted. The job was done quickly and cleanly. They even dealt with the neighbours. Pricing was reasonable compared to a few other quites that were obtained. Would definitely recommend!

Great service from Trees UK. A car crashed through our garden fence and demolished one of our trees. A survey was completed and a replacement sourced which was successfully planted. Clear instructions provided and an ongoing maintenance plan agreed. We are very pleased with the work

We booked Trees UK to trim a magnolia tree in our garden. We felt the price was very reasonable and found them really professional and friendly throughout the process, from the office staff to the tree specialists. We were very pleased with both their expert knowledge/advice and their work. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a tree specialist.

Really good firm from admin staff ,estimator and Tree surgeons Came, estimated, got necessary planning permission and arranged procedures which they carried out with skill and cleared up after with care making sure my neighbour was happy for them to remove any debris on her side. They left my garden clear of any signs of tree surgery The end result is that I have light in my garden patio and sitting room and hope my magnolia tree will benefit too Well done !

I paid this company a lot of money to wreck my garden. The surveyor that gave the quote was helpful and gave good advice, he also commented on how nice my lawn looked, I said I'd had it re-turfed this spring. Well, it doesn't look nice anymore. I had the crown thinned and reduced on a ~60 year old Lombardy Poplar (i.e. a very tall tree), but instead of lowering the branches to the ground with ropes, or using boards, they chucked them off the top, leaving a lot of deep holes in the lawn where they landed end-on. The lawn was also churned to mud in one patch due to foot traffic where they were standing, and one of the dropped branches broke a border bush on the other side of the garden in half. I had wanted half of this bush removed at some point…but not that half. They haven't offered any compensation. I've given 1 star back because they came and filled the holes with topsoil, but if they'd taken appropriate care and respected my garden that shouldn't have been necessary. I've included a photo of some of the holes, but there are about twice as many, and the squirrels and foxes that usually don't dig up the actual lawn are making them worse (they are already digging up the topsoil).

We are extremely disappointed to receive your review. Our policy is to provide an after work courtesy call prior to sending an invoice, a voice message was left for you requesting your feedback. We received your email about your concerns after you had made payment and we then arranged for our senior surveyor to attend to carry out a quality site inspection. As you can see from other reviews your experience is not in line with the high standards of how we operate and leave our client's gardens and we can only apologise once again.
We would be happy to send you a voucher to replace the damaged shrub which in your email you had advised you had planned to remove. The office will contact you to arrange.

I was very impressed with the professional and efficient service provided throughout. From prompt response to my initial enquiry, arranging a site visit and detailed quotation until completion of the work on the agreed date all went smoothly. They handled the TPO application for the removal of a large, mature horse chestnut tree . It had been suffering from long term canopy die back and bracket fungus was spreading at ground level. Matt, Luke and their two colleagues arrived promptly and worked hard and efficiently on the felling and debris clearing causing minimal damage to other plants and/or fences and. no inconvenience to neighbouring gardens. Jen and Alison in the office were friendly and dealt with queries promptly. Sam arrived early for the site survey and, as I have said the team did a good job on the day . The courtesy call afterwards was also appreciated, prior to invoicing. I would unequivocally recommend this company and would use them for future tree work

Unlike others who simply gave me a lump-sum quotation, Tree provided a clear and detailed breakdown, which was very helpful. They also delivered a stellar job. The only drawback is that the waiting time can be a bit longer than with other companies.
