Pruning an apple tree The team from Acorn came back in January and pruned a very large and out of control apple tree in our garden. The guys were punctual and communicative, and did a great job of getting the tree sorted. They tidied up after themselves, and even cleared our Christmas tree which was sitting in the garden waiting to go to the tip - that’s really going above and beyond. The tree looks much better and will be so much more in control this summer. Would absolutely recommend Acorn and will be definitely booking again.

Great Job I would recommend Acorn Tree Specialists Ltd who felled a large conifer in my garden recently and removed the stump. I was very pleased with the work which was done efficiently and thoroughly and the site was left tidy. Thank you to your staff who were friendly and polite and kept going despite the very hot weather.

Andy and his team were so helpful in sorting out removing / cutting down some small saplings that were a problem in my garden. I was especially grateful as no other company even returned my enquiries, as I think my job may have been too small. Not only were they able to do exactly what I needed in the garden, I really appreciate when a tradesperson does a 'small' job as well as a big job really well. They were also very accommodating with my availability which was also really helpful. I can definitely recommend them as being excellent.

TALL ROTTEN TREE REMOVAL - REAR BACK GARDEN ROMSEY ACORN in Dec 2025 took down a tall rotten tree in our garden. The weather conditions were terrible but the work was safely carried out over 2 days with a team of 5 operatives. All wood was ground up / chipped/ disposed of to a licenced site. Clear up in my garden and my elderly nerighbours was exceptional - indeed my neighbour wrote to me confirming this. We would use this company for similar works - fully recommended They are returning later to coordinate the stump grinding

A very professional company that gets the job done - very happy customer. I contacted Acorn Tree Specialists because of the good reviews I'd read. Andy got in touch promptly & visited my property to inspect the tree that needed to be cut down. He gave me good advice & discussed the options available. I received an estimate which was very reasonable. Andy & his team arrived on time, worked quickly & efficiently to remove the tree & then tidied up both within my property & also on the road that my fence backs onto. I was very impressed.

The team of three did a thorough job in a few hours and they always check to make sure they have all that we require of them. A large tree cut down The team turned up on time, took down a very large tree with minimal disruption and tidied up afterwards. The whole process was over in less than a day, using 6 men and 11 cups of tea! A job well done, thank you Andy.

Yew tree pruning Acorn were recommended to me and I am pleased I acted on the recommendation, as Andy and his team did an excellent job in cutting back a large yew tree in my parents' garden. Beforehand they advised on the best course of action to keep the tree healthy, and the team were prompt, polite and cleared up very thoroughly when they had finished. We are very happy with the results and would recommend Acorn without hesitation.
