Mick at Travelrite is so helpful in identifying the specific need a client has and then finding a great deal. I travel with my 96 year old father and the recent Oceania cruise Mick recommended was a terrific experience for Dad - and for me as the carer! I wouldn’t use anyone other than Travelrite to book cruises - they really are the experts in this area

I have just returned from a painting workshop holiday in Western Australia booked through Travelrite International. The booking process was seamless and I was kept up to date with all arrangements and so was very happy to that point. The problem was that neither the tutor
nor the tour manager had ever been to the area and only arrived at the same time as the participants. As a result they had no on the ground knowledge. This meant painting sites were not carefully chosen with regard to the beautiful scenery nor were they able to choose sites suitable for the weather conditions.
There is no doubt that the tutor was helpful and knowledgeable, however I believe her position was compromised by the tour manager being her daughter. This was not a professional arrangement.
The trip looked great on paper but there were no full days of painting even though they were on the itinerary. The weather was blamed for this however knowledge of local conditions together with actual knowledge of the area would have enabled contingency plans to adequately address all situations. What was promised was not delivered. If you want to go somewhere and just take photos you don't book a painting workshop holiday.

Japan in Late Autumn
Janine, our Travelrite agent, planned our 3-week, self-guided holiday. We gave Janine a list of places we wanted to go (a little off the beaten path) and she planned a comprehensive itinerary and then made all those reservations for us (flights, hotels, transport).
Even though it was late autumn, there was a spectacular show of autumn colours. And it was still 20 degrees every day!
The private guides on the first day in each city gave us a perfect sampler of everything the cities had to offer.
Without the private guides, we may have stumbled. Thanks to Janine, it meant that we became familiar with each city’s layout: the complex rail networks, the locations of eye-popping contemporary architecture and art to the timeless beauty of World Heritage-listed sights and artfully-designed gardens.
Everything was seamless from the airport shuttle buses to the mobile Wi-Fi device so that we could stay in touch with family and friends, and crucially, navigate each city.
The precision and clarity of Janine’s arrangements in tandem with her supplier, Inside Japan, ensured we made the best use of our time, saved the hassle of having to try to navigate everything ourselves and we felt completely relaxed in our travels.
Janine provided all tickets with exact timings and seats booked to ensure best views etc etc. Spacious, elegant hotels were located in the heart of the action and convenient for transport. Janine made it so painless and a lot of fun. She listened to what we wanted and provided invaluable knowledge, help and information. We were wowed by the whole experience and are slowly adjusting to mundane Melbourne. Thank you, Janine.
