5 star experience … We were picked up on time by George who explained that we were going to visit 4 wineries today in stellenbosh. George knows his stuff, the places he took us to were excellent. Excellent wine, excellent food and excellent customer service! The first place was set in lovely gardens which, in the sunshine, made our tasting experience idilic. The 2nd stop concentrated on red wines which I prefer, and had a top class restaurant where I had one of the best steaks ever. Our 3rd winery was the poshest, with rolling mountain views and classy port-wines. The final stop excelled at cheese platters and olive oil…yum. This was great day out in the company of George who was a great driver-guide, thank you.

Poor experience This is NOT a private tour. I went with my family and we picked up a group of people on the way to the tours. Additionally, the estimated amount of money spent on wine tasting was extremely low. We spent at least 120 Rand on each tasting per person instead of the total 180 Rand estimated per trip. If you are planning a wine tour it would be cheaper to Uber your group to each vineyard or even take the train option. Do not book this trip if you expect a true private wine tour.
