We have a holiday let and Burgess has always been quick to respond to an urgent situation and we recently had a water leak whilst guests were staying so it was a huge relief when Burgess got there and located the leak quickly. Whenever we've had an issue with the plumbing or heating system, no matter how challenging, Burgess is always determined to remedy the issue. He's honest, reasonable and great to work with.

Really impressed with the quality of the work on the replacement of my old boiler and pipework. The plumbing was carried out to an exceptionally high standard, with great attention to detail throughout. The copper pipework is particularly impressive everything is precise, neatly installed, well aligned and looks extremely professional. It’s clear that a lot of pride and care has gone into the workmanship. The job was completed cleanly and efficiently, with everything left tidy afterwards. Excellent workmanship from start to finish and a real eye for detail. I’d have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for a skilled, reliable plumber who takes pride in doing things properly.

An absolutely professional service throughout. After having been let down badly by another plumbing service I found Thurgood Heating on Google and gave them a call. I'm so glad I did as I needed a new boiler anyway and Thurgood Heating were much more sensible on price. I now have a 10 year warranty with my new oil boiler too. The Hive thermostat installation is also a bonus as I can now control everything from an app or directly using the thermostat whether heating or hot water. The quality of works was also exceptional. I am more than happy to personally recommend this company to anyone, first class from start to finish!

Burgess has just saved us many sleepless nights and worries after promptly attending to check on a water leak, which seemed to be under our kitchen floor. Our worst fear was that we would have to dig up the whole floor. We’d had heard a whistling sound in a pipe for several weeks and could not locate it. Burgess found a leaking valve behind our washing machine. He moved the fitting and location of the valve to a more convenient and easier to reach place. He was very quick and efficient and communicated clearly and swiftly throughout. I can highly recommend Burgess and his services.
