I visited the Hearing Space for a hearing test. The audiologist, Paul Shaw was very helpful and informative about the service he provides.
He discussed the different options available for me and informed me about the different types of hearing aids available.
After discussing the different options, Paul offered me a hearing aid.
Once I had my hearing aids fitted I had further follow up appointments to ensure that I was managing well with the aids and if further adjustments were required.
I was very happy with the service provided and would highly recommend The Hearing Space Audiologist

I'd had severely blocked ears for a couple of months and was annoying myself and family because of it.
Paul saw me on short notice and was very professional and personable, and got all the wax out.
Being able to hear again is a revelation - highly recommended!

I have had great service from Paul at The Hearing Space over the past few years. Having initially had an inaccurate hearing test at one of the high-street vendors, I thought I should get in touch with a properly qualified and experienced audiologist. Paul let me try out several different types of hearing aid from several different manufacturers before purchasing a pair. Since then he has always been ready to sort out any problems with my hearing or my hearing aids. I highly recommended his service.

I had an excellent experience with Paul at Hearing Space, and his warmth and kindness genuinely made a very difficult situation much easier.
On Friday morning, just before starting at a new hospital the following week, I realised that I had misplaced my Roger On microphone, without which I would have struggled to make phone calls at work. With the weekend approaching, I urgently needed a replacement, but none of the suppliers I contacted had stock available at such short notice.
I contacted Paul, whom I had never met before, intending to buy a replacement from him. He had a trial Roger On available and was looking into arranging a new one for me. While I was with him, however, I found an alternative option for purchasing my replacement, so he knew I would ultimately be buying it elsewhere.
Despite this, Paul very kindly offered to let me use his trial Roger On for a few days until mine arrived. I offered to pay a deposit and a service fee, but he refused and simply trusted me to return it.
What made this particularly remarkable was that he barely knew who I was. As I was leaving, I showed him my driving licence and asked whether he wanted to photograph it, given that he was handing an expensive piece of equipment to someone he had only just met. His response was essentially that, after talking to me for an hour, if I failed to return it, that would reflect on his judgement of character.
That really stayed with me. In a time when this level of trust and generosity can feel increasingly rare, Paul went out of his way to help someone he had never met, despite having nothing financially to gain from it.
I am extremely grateful for his help and do not think I will forget his kindness. I would have no hesitation recommending Hearing Space to anyone looking for an independent audiologist who genuinely cares about the people he helps.

I didn’t know I couldn’t hear until I could!
Professional service, not in the least bit embarrassing; made a huge difference to my life. The difference before and after was a huge surprise; even my own voice sounded clearer and sharp, I was taken aback. I wish I’d done it much much sooner; I will go for regular check ups from now on, and will be taking my kids to be checked too. So grateful.
