Very happy with our new space. Converted a two-bed terraced house into a three-bed family home. Marius and his team were organised, efficient, punctual and executed the work to a high standard. Marius and his team were truly amazing! They communicated clearly about each step and when things needed to be done next which made the whole experience seamless. The speed at which they worked, along with attention to detail, was way beyond our expectations. The areas where the team worked were kept clean, and the noise was kept to a minimum. Paul, Maggie, Helen, Stuart and the team were all fantastic to work with; they were quick to answer any questions and shared some great recommendations & ideas. I would highly recommend the loft room, but especially Marius and his team, who made the process a genuinely great experience.
We’ve had an exceptional experience with the Loft Room from start to finish, we could not be happier with our new rear dormer loft extension. The professionalism of everyone we have dealt with, the level of communication & quality of work has been outstanding. The whole process was seamless.
Of particular mention is Adrian who was our project manager. He is extremely passionate about his work with an incredible work ethic & attention to detail. He really cared that we were happy with everything & offered helpful ideas & suggestions throughout the process. Both Adrian & Andrei (who worked together) were always polite, friendly, respectful & extremely tidy. They were a pleasure to have around & worked so hard, we couldn’t believe how quickly the work progressed! We have had several neighbours comment on their professionalism & on how the work was not disruptive.

Everything was explained properly at the start, including the work involved, the quote, and the expected timeframe and the project was delivered exactly as promised.
A special thank you to Dragos, our project manager, who was excellent throughout. He was organised, responsive, and always helpful whenever we had any questions. His communication and coordination made the whole process much smoother, and we really appreciated the way he managed the project from start to finish.
The on-site team were also fantastic. They worked hard, were respectful, tidy, and professional at all times. The quality of the workmanship is very high, and all the trades involved from building work to plumbing, electrics, plastering, decorating, and finishing contributed to a really well-done final result.

We recently had our loft extension completed by The Loft Room and we’re really happy with the result. Communication was excellent — you have a WhatsApp group set with the builder and project coordinator so that we always knew what was happening and we got quick responses to any questions. The build itself was completed quickly and to a really good standard.
The team caused minimal disruption and were professional and respectful of our home throughout. A special mention to Caitlin, who was the main builder and was particularly brilliant.
The only minor note is that you need to fully read all of the information in advance as a few additional costs cropped up which added up - these are outlined in their quote though. That said, the quality of the work and the overall experience was very positive. We’d highly recommend The Loft Room to anyone considering a loft conversion.

We had a loft extension completed by The Loft Company, with Ashley running the day-to-day build—and honestly, we couldn’t be happier.
From the very start, the whole team were clear, friendly and easy to deal with. Everything was well explained, well organised, and completely transparent—no surprises, which made a huge difference.
Ashley was brilliant. Communication was spot on the whole way through—he kept us in the loop daily, was always approachable, and genuinely made the whole process feel calm and manageable (no small feat when you’re living through a build with kids and working from home!).
He really got us as a family too—giving us the right space and information to make decisions, but always keeping things moving. That balance made everything so much easier. Ashley went above and beyond what we expected prior to the build.
For anyone worried about living through it—most of the work stayed up in the loft, so we could happily stay at home for almost the whole project. We only moved out for about a week when they broke through, which was a big win with children!
Another huge plus—Ashley shared photos every day, so we always felt involved and reassured.
And the tidiness? Honestly impressive. Once the stair case was in everything was cleaned and hoovered daily, which makes such a difference when you're still living there.
The finish is fantastic—real attention to detail, and it shows. Plus, having the decoration included was a game changer. It saved us a big job , we do have to decorate the new stair case downwards (not included) so having that done was really helpful.
The end result has completely transformed our home—it genuinely feels like it’s always been this way.
Also to add how great the joiner recommendations were for our built in wardrobe - well worth it.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ashley and The Loft Company.
Only small suggestion would be a little more time upfront for key decisions—but to be fair, Ashley adapted quickly and handled everything in a polite, professional way.
All in all, a really great experience.

We recently had our loft conversion done by The Loft Room and we are delighted with the results. We had quotes from a few different companies, and their quote was one of the most reasonable, with really clear details about what was included / excluded and therefore no nasty surprises. We had to delay the start of the work (due to an issue on our side, not theirs) and they were happy to honour the original quote with the later start date.
The work was all done really quickly, and we are extremely happy with the quality of the work throughout. There were inevitably a few little snagging issues but they were very quick to get everything finished and sorted out with no fuss.
Our project leader Marius helped us out with various suggestions and recommendations along the way, and all of the team were very friendly and helpful. In particular we really appreciated the hard work of the plasterers who worked late into the evening and over a weekend to keep the project on schedule (or in fact ahead of schedule).
We would 100% recommend them to anyone considering a loft conversion!!
(We are now in the process of furnishing the lovely new space, so will update this review when we've got the furniture sorted are able to take a few pictures)

We had an incredibly positive experience with the Loft Room and have gained an amazing new space in our house.
We had been desperate to increase the space in our old Victorian terraced house for ages and after struggling to find builders we could trust, we eventually found The Loft Room. We had never done major work like this before they provided clear and easy to follow process right from start from contract to planning through to final completion with everything explained and all the costs clear at every stage.
We were amazed at the speed of the build. We had our own project manager, Mihai, who drove the build and wasted no time getting things done. In fact it was probably us slowing him down.
He went beyond to make sure we were happy even when we had occasional of moments panic he saw us through. We really appreciate his work and help throughout.
We are really happy with the work and would highly recommend the Loft Room to anyone.

The on-site team, led by Dragos and Andrei, were excellent throughout. They were respectful, hardworking, and consistently kept the space tidy, which made a big difference. They were also considerate of our neighbours, which didn’t go unnoticed. The quality of the work is of a very high standard, with skilled trades across plumbing, electrics, and finishing all contributing to a great end result.
What stood out most, though, was how the team handled snagging. No project is perfect first time, but their responsiveness and willingness to quickly address and resolve any issues was second to none. It really showed their commitment to doing the job properly and ensuring customer satisfaction.

We cannot begin to thank Mihai and the team enough for building our loft. If you are lucky enough to have Mihai as your project manager you will not be disappointed. He is so professional, helpful and hard working and goes above and beyond. With any build there were a few things that cropped up along the way but Mihai always helped, reassured and answered any questions we had.
We were also so impressed with all the trades people who worked on our loft. They too were diligent, professional, hard working and all round really nice people to have working in our home.
There were a few extra costs which cropped up along the way, which were not in our budget and as we hadn’t been through this process before was quite stressful but you live and learn and overall we’re really happy with the outcome.

We engaged loft room as we were impressed right from the start with their professionalism and advice at the first meeting. They are an amazing team who will take your project from inception (architect drawings etc) to final completion (Thankyou Paul, Rich,Melissa and Helen). Having done other build projects this was a breath of fresh air to have a knowledgeable and very helpful team of individuals who can guide you through the process.
Undoubtedly the stand out star of our project was Eddie who ran the project on site. His work ethic is impeccable and quality and standards of work is flawless. He coordinated all other tradesmen exceptionally well. Always super friendly and polite nothing was too much trouble. He made our project an absolute pleasure to complete. Eddie was supported by Alex ,who was helpful, diligent and a rising star.! They were on site for four months as our project was quite substantial. At no time did we have any issues and we have been sad to say goodbye to them both.
Stuart (electrician), Steve (plumber) and their teams all did a first class job and were all polite and a pleasure to deal with.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Loft Room to anyone! Everyone who we dealt with was friendly, polite, hard working and we have a fantastic loft room as a result. Our builder was Dave and I really felt like he had our best interests at heart and he worked tirelessly to make sure we had the loft we wanted and what would work best in the space we have. He was really approachable and even when we had a problem on Christmas Eve (not his fault!) he sorted it in a matter of hours. It's a very well run company and it made our building experience very easy and high quality! My only regret is that we used our own architect at the beginning, we should have done it all through The Loft Room.

The Loft Room team and Vio, our excellent project manager, did an impressive job of making our loft conversion as pain-free and predictable as possible. Thanks to local planning rules, adding a bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd floor required the first floor ceilings to be ripped out and replaced 8 inches lower. It's a filthy job but Vio is so scrupulous about cleanliness that I carried on living on the ground floor while shipping the rest of the family out to an Air BnB. He engaged a number of equally excellent sub-contractors, ensuring that every job was undertaken to an exceptionally high standard. Liam the roofer's lead work makes me happy whenever I look at it.
Living on site meant Vio and I could talk pretty much every day and he did an outstanding job of keeping me informed on progress while coordinating the various teams of electricians, plumbers, tilers etc in tandem with some other work that we needed to get done at the same time. My tip would be to trust him and take his advice on modifications to the work on stuff like skip licences, scaffolding modifications, design details etc.. He suggested a few things early on that saved us time at the end of the job when we were all ready to be done with it. He also spotted some opportunities to improve on design details which only became evident once work was underway and they've added to our enjoyment of the new rooms
Helen and her colleagues were very responsive and helped with communication on elements of the job like scaffolding and the occasional scheduling wrinkles that are unavoidable on a project involving so many different trades. The scaffolders were also excellent by the way; if you get a chance to watch them at work I'd recommend it. I'm never going to complain about work again having seen them clambering over the roof of the house carrying a couple of scaffold poles in near zero temperatures and constant rain with the most upbeat attitude to work I've seen in years. She was also very helpful in lining up specialists like Anthony, who finished off the job with excellent fitted storage units and the irreplacable Leo; who painted them all while becoming a family favourite.

We recently completed a loft conversion and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, Ashley and Ashton were absolutely fantastic. Their workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail really stood out.
One of the things that impressed me most was how clean and organised they kept everything throughout the build. A project like this can easily disrupt daily life, but they went above and beyond to minimise any inconvenience so we could continue living in the house comfortably.
They were also incredibly considerate of our family situation, especially accommodating my daughter’s sleeping arrangements during the more disruptive stages of the build. That level of thoughtfulness made a huge difference to us.
Ashley, as the project manager, was exceptional. He was always available, quick to respond to any questions, and proactive in solving any issues that arose. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and he always had clear, confident answers which gave us real peace of mind throughout the project.

Excellent loft renovation with a dormer en-suite bathroom. We are absolutely thrilled with our new space.
We took the opportunity to replace the roof, add skylights and improve a few peripherals. Adrian was an excellent project manager, and he and his crew had a great work ethic, helping us think through practicalities, coming up with design solutions and ensuring that we stayed on schedule.
The LoftRoom team were great; we engaged with Paul initially and then Melissa, Helen and Maggie ensured we were kept fully informed along the way and answered any questions we had.

I was nervously looking for a reliable builder to do my loft conversion. I heard a lot of horror stories about cowboy builders. I searched on the web and also asked friends and relatives for reference. From the beginning The Loft Room seemed professional. The gave me the quote and some of friends were promising some saving though I was not convinced with those contractors’ quality of work and reliability. I finally decided to go with The Loft Room. Over the project tenure the whole team was professional and either accepted my odd demands or convinced me why it was not a good idea. Dragos is a good project manager to bounce any ideas with. Andrei and his dad worked hard quality is good. I am happy not to go for few thousand pound saving but getting a worry free project completion and quality. I definitely recommend The Loft Room without any reservations.

From day one, they were incredibly professional and made the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free. One of the biggest advantages for us was that they manage all the individual contractors and timelines, which took away so much of the organisational work and worry. Everything was coordinated seamlessly, and the project progressed quickly and smoothly.
Jamie, our Project Lead, was absolutely brilliant. He kept us fully up-to-date at every stage, dealt with any minor issues immediately, and consistently went above and beyond. He suggested thoughtful solutions we wouldn’t have considered ourselves — such as creating a recess behind our TV to neatly hide the Sky box — which have made a real difference to the finished space.
Our other regular builder, Jared, was also fantastic: professional, reliable and always helpful. It was clear throughout that the team takes real pride in their work.
The quality of the finish is excellent and everything has been completed to a very high standard. We are absolutely delighted with the final result and how smoothly the whole project ran.
