One man, two days, one boiler and 5 (rather heavy) radiators. I can certainly recommend Dan at Taskforce Maintenance. He was friendly, worked hard and explained things as he went through the different tasks involved in the job. All the Taskforce team are friendly and helpful. Jamie even popped in on his way into work to help me set up the controller/programmer properly. Thanks guys.

Taskforce have done several pieces of work for us since we moved into our 1960s bungalow in October 2025. Matthew came and did a gas safety check shortly after we moved in, giving us piece of mind as the gas hob, gas fire and central heating boiler were not new. In December James and Dan removed the 30 year old non-combi boiler and old electric immersion water tank and replaced it with a Vaillant combi. They also moved and replaced some of the bedroom radiators to make the room more comfortable and allow for more flexible furniture layouts. Then, in April 2026, James returned to remove a gas hob in the kitchen and cap off the supply pipe, ready for a new electric induction hob. Taskforce also secured an electrician, Ed from Millpond electricals to install the new hob on the same day the gas one was removed so that we wouldn't be left without a hob. We have found all the staff at Taskforce very cheerful, friendly, helpful and reliable. They work tidily and turn up at agreed times. The quality of work is excellent. They liaise well with us during all the works done. Any relevant Certificates are sent in a timely way once the work has been completed. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. We feel in safe hands with them and plan to continuing with them to service our gas appliances.

Having previously used TaskForce for several smaller plumbing jobs at our property, and nursing an increasingly-unreliable 18 year old Domestic Gas Boiler, we recently accepted a realistic quote from them to replace with a new energy-saving Vaillant ecoTEC Plus Model. We couldn't be more pleased with the highly efficient manner in which our work was completed within the agreed timescale (single day) by Dylan, and the associated custom pipework (as well as the actual Boiler) is much superior to what was previously in place. True Craftsmanship. We would therefore have absolutely NO hesitation in recommending TaskForce's services around any domestic plumbing and heating requirements.

I called Taskforce after our shower began giving problems and after hearing positive comments about them. I'm so glad I did; so refreshing to deal with a friendly, responsive company whose engineer does not automatically conclude you need a host of new parts before they've had a good look. Taskforce's engineer took the trouble to find out exactly what was causing the problem and rectify it, though they went to the the trouble of finding out where they could source an unavailable part just in case it was needed. They kept in contact right through the process to keep me in the picture and their charge was very reasonable especially considering two visits were required to fix the problem. I thoroughly recommend Taskforce.

Very professional company, totally thorough and conscientious in all that they do, their workmanship is high calibre. It's an industry where many companies cut corners or overcharge for mediocre work, this is certainly not the case with Taskforce, they are honest to their core.
